June Inspiration Week – Day 3

Hello and welcome to Penguin Palace’s June Inspiration Week – Day 3! If you’re just joining us, don’t forget to head over to our blog Giveaway Post from Wednesday or to our IG Giveaway Post where you can leave your comments to win a Special Goodie Bag worth over $170CAD/$130USD!

Today we’ll be showcasing our newest floral circular stencil, the Centerpiece Stencils 360°! This specially designed stencil lets you create a gorgeous multi-color floral card without the need for masking, and without the need to layer multiple stencils!

I’m super excited that we are joined by two amazingly talented Guest Designers today! First we have Jeannie’s trio of cards!

By inking and rotating this stencil at 120deg (2 rotations), she created this beautifully blended floral card! The layout of her first card is darling! I love how the yellow tone cardstock ties in with the floral design.

The black strip of cardstock also gives the perfect contrast to her card. The sentiment is from the So Blessed stamp set.

Her next card is in landscape format.

I just love the dark violet hue card base that really brings out her selection of ink colors!

She then went for a deep lavender hue on her last card in portrait. This card is super elegant!

The sentiment is also from the So Blessed stamp set.

Our next Guest Designer is Allison! For her first card, after completing blending and rotation, she filled in even more florals at random.

I love the added accents using copic markers! Really adds the right amount of details and depths!

Her next card is more of a muted card, she selectively stenciled the flowers around the sentiment.

This panel was cut with the dot-pierced die from the Cinematic Shadow Box set. I love the gold heat embossed sentiment.

Finally, a shout-out to one of our commenters Eliza for requesting more YouTube tutorials! I truly appreciate your feedback! Below is a short reel of this stencil in action! I used a combination of 3 Distress Oxides for blending.

Then I simply white heat embossed my sentiment onto Navy Blazer Cardstock, die cut it and adhered them with foam tape onto my card.

To finish off, I added some shimmery butterfly embellishments for the extra sparkle!

Thank you so much Jeannie and Allison for joining this Inspiration Week and your awesome cards!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s inspirations! We will continue to have lots of wonderful products and projects to showcase the next few days so don’t forget to visit us again tomorrow!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

June Inspiration Week – Day 2

Hello and welcome to Penguin Palace’s June Inspiration Week – Day 2! If you’re just joining us, don’t forget to head over to our Giveaway Post from yesterday where you can leave your comments to win a Special Goodie Bag worth over $170CAD/$130USD!

Today we’ll be showcasing a new 6” x 6” stencil, The Rose – Close Up! This gorgeous stencil makes it fun and easy to whip up a beautiful card in half the time!

Check out Karen’s charming card below!

I love the light pink/purple hue with a touch of bright yellow color-combo! It’s so refreshing! The “Sending Warm Hugs” sentiment is from the Unity and Friendship Quotes.

Julie went for a more traditional color choice for her rose. The color gradients really give the rose a very realistic look! What an amazing job by Julie!

I love the splashes of paint in a few different colors which makes the card even more interesting! The sentiment is from the new So Blessed stamp set.

Next is my card. I wanted a pastel look on my rose, so I blended Distress Oxides in Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick. The sentiment is also from the new So Blessed stamp set.

I used Cotton Candy and cut out an A2 size back panel. To finish off, I added some clear hearts embellishments of different sizes to give it a more elegant look!

Lastly I wanted to share this card again as I really like how it turned out. Some of you might have seen this during Reveal Week last month.

The sans serif letters are from Modern Deluxe Alphabets and I used the Coordinating Templates to arrange the bold letters.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s inspirations! We will continue to have lots of wonderful products and projects to showcase this week so don’t forget to visit us again tomorrow!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

A super versatile stamp set to have in your craft stash that you’ll need for so many different types of cards!

Make sure to make it all of the way to the bottom for a chance to win a Goodie Bag worth over $170CAD/$130USD! Now let’s take a look at some awesome projects!

Candice made a super cool looking card using black as the primary color! She used the Sidewalk Scene Builder – Stand-Alone Die and the Hello There words die to set the scene!

I love how the black contrasts with the light blue sky in the background. The white gel pen details add the perfect touch on these fun letters! I also love how she scattered the bears on top and around the words as if the big “Hello There” is an art sculpture on the sidewalk!

Karen made a simple card with this set. She used the Hello There words die as the focal point.

She kept it simple with lots of white space and added a couple of mini bears to finish her card. I love the neon ink she blended on the words die!

Check out Mimi’s lively and cheerful scene! I love how she used the cute images, including the shops, the table and chairs from Rabbit Café to set the scene!

The sentiments are from the Sweetest Truck. I love how she masked off the bears to put them inside those shops! Look at those cute bears, it’s like a big happy bear party!

Special thanks to our first Guest Designer Yan for joining us in this Inspiration Week!

She made a super gorgeous card where she hand drawn these beautiful paper airplanes for these cute critters! I just love the dreamy look of this card! The sentiment is from the Unity and Friendship Quote stamp set.

Finally we have another Guest Designer, Keiko’s creation! I love the combination of the fun Fairland Alphabets die cut with these adorable mini bears!

The choice of colors along with the hearts embellishments make the card extra sweet! The glossy accents on the fun quirky letters give the perfect touch!
