Our First Digital Stamps Collection is HERE!

Hello crafty friends! I’m super excited to announce that our first four new digi stamps have hit the store! But before we get to them, we have another little surprise! Today we have the talented Guest Designer Jennifer Rustioni sharing her gorgeous card inspiration with us!!

As most of you know Jennifer‘s creations are always so mesmerizing! Her no-line coloring techniques are off the charts! Even though Christmas is now over, it is never too late to look at another one of her beautiful Christmas Card inspirations!

She chose a kraft card stock (Neenah Desert Storm) for her card. This adorable image is from the Greetings From Santa stamp set.

At first I thought it was done using watercolors but it was actually Copics that did the trick. It is almost hard to imagine that the Copics can create this watercolor vibe with such a soft dreamy tone and so much dimension! The kraft cardstock just elevates the look!

Today, we also have Mimi who’s created a very inspiring sample using one of our new Digital Stamp set, In Love With London.

Mimi uses the software Pixelmator Pro for Macs for designing her card. For those of you who are not familiar with Digital Stamps, you do not need any fancy programme to open or work with them. Even a simple programme like Word can be used to play around with the images and designing your card!

I just love the scene! I love how she modify the Big Ben image from the set to create a much wider image for the background! I like how she positioned the big red bus in front of the building as it creates depth to the card!

Another good thing about digital stamps is that you can copy and paste them easily as many times as you want. Here she copied a bunch of the potted plants to create the look of a street café – so clever!

Thank you so much Jennifer and Mimi, your inspirations are so charming!

Thank you for stopping by, head over to ppstamps.com to check out the new collection of digis now!

Wishing You a Happy and Healthy Year of the Rabbit!

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! This year is the year of the Rabbit. The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope!

Today I have a card to share in wishing all of you a prosperous year ahead!

For this card I wanted to create a stencil embossed look. I inked a piece of white cardstock measuring 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ using Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink. I laid the Ripple Tide stencil on my inked panel, then put a piece of baby wipe on top, followed by an embossing mat, then an impression pad at the very top. I ran the whole sandwich through my die cut machine (Sizzix Big Shot).

The moisture from the baby wipe reacts with the Distress Oxide ink producing a soft and subtle pattern on my panel.

I adhered this panel onto matching Santa heavyweight cardstock of A2 size, leaving a 1/2″ border.

I stamped out two koi from the Legend of the Koi stamp set and die cut it using the coordinating die. I gold heat embossed the sentiments from the same stamp set onto Santa heavyweight cardstock and adhered them onto my patterned background.

I put foam tape on the back of the koi for the added dimension added a little sparkle on them using Wink of Stella glitter pen, and finally finished the card with a few gems.

I hope you like this inspiration! Wish you all a lucky year to come!

Heejung’s Versatile Just Because Card Design!

Hello everyone! We’re super excited to welcome the talented Heejung Hunsberger to our Creative Team!

Today Heejung is sharing with us this beautiful card design, the backbone of which can be perfect for lots of different occasions!

She die cut two bouquets from Leafy Borders and Roses Stand-Alone Dies in white cardstock and adhere them on opposite corners of a pastel pink panel.

She then composed a smaller 1:1 panel by combining strips of colored cardstocks, framed with a narrow white border.

It’s great to have multiples of this design on hand as occasions come up. With an added sentiment, your card will be ready to go!

For her card, she white heat embossed a sentiment from Words From The Heart (Chapter 2).

Thank you so much for your lovely inspiration Heejung and welcome to the team!

A Classroom Scene – Thank You Card by Mimi!

Welcome back Crafty Friends! This is our first blog post of 2023 and we wish you a healthy and prosperous year ahead!

Today Mimi is back to share with us a super cute classroom setting Thank You card!

I’m loving all the bright and vibrant colors! To set the scene, she used the Classroom Scene Builder die set. She ink blended the back wall with Distress Oxide Broken China and the wood floor with Gathered Twigs.

This Classroom Scene Builder die set has all the elements you need to create a detailed and adorable classroom setting! I love the Copic coloring she did on the die-cut pieces.

She combined a few characters from The Sweetest Truck and Rabbit Café. She also used the crayons and other accessories like pencils, apple, and a little note from We Are Right For Each Other and Penguin Agenda. I love that she added the rainbow decorations on the wall too, super cute!

The hand-drawn heart on the easel is a nice touch as well! To finish off her card, she added a sweet sentiment from Inseparable.

Thank you so much Mimi, your card is amazing!
