New Videos Are Up On Our YouTube Channel!

Hi everyone! Ashley is back today to share another one of her beautiful creations! This time her card features the new Sacred Lotus Stencils 360°TM.

She first used Barrel 2 on her 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ canvas and started blending with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. She then further blended an overlay with Barrel 1 using Picked Raspberry. This simple overlay already makes a great contrast!

I love how she used Barrel 3 on a separate 4″ square piece of paper and blended that using Antique Linen. She then fussy cut it and made it another layer for her card!

She stamped the sentiment “I am beyond Grateful” from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set, using the same Picked Raspberry ink to match!

She adhered the fussy cut piece onto her card with foam tape to give it a little dimension! I love the array of gems she added on each of the leaves! You can watch her video HERE for the step-by-step tutorial!

Since the launch of the Stencils 360°TM, we have received many comments asking us whether this tool can be used together with square stencils, aside from the circular stencils that we just launched! And today, I have the answer for you in my new video! Below is a card that I made, using our regular 6″ x 6″ Rain fo Hearts stencil combined with our new Stencils 360°TM!

Instead of using the Guide Ring and rotating a circular stencil for blending, I taped down my square stencil onto my 6″ Paper Positioner and then did some simple masking on my square stencil to get just the right portion I wanted for my card.

Using a 30° turning interval, I blended 3 different colors of Distress Oxide Inks on my canvas.

Then I grabbed the cute kitties from the My BFF stamp set, copic colored and die cut it. I also die-cut a piece using the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes coordinating dies and adhere that underneath my image.

The sentiment “I’m beyond grateful to have a friend like you” was from the Words From the Heart (Chapter 2) stamp set. This black shimmery card base is one of my favourites and it is called the Mysterious Galaxy – Medium Weight Premium Cardstock.

You can watch my YouTube video right HERE! Our new Stencils 360°TM is super versatile, not only you can use our circular line of stencils to create stunning designs in just minutes, you can even use your old stencils on this user-friendly tool! You will be surprised the amazing results that they give you!

We hope you enjoyed today’s inspriations! Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate with Magical Fireworks!

Hello and Happy Wednesday! We have some brilliant inspirations from our Creative Team today featuring the Magical Fireworks Stencils 360°TM.

First we have Ashley’s dual of cards. I love the wide range of colors that she’s used on both!

Combined with our Stencils 360°TM, Ashley used only the Barrel 1 of the Magical Fireworks stencil set and blended Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow hues onto her cardstock. On both cards, a turning intervals of 15° were used.

First on her landscape format card, the bold letters die cut You Are My Inspiration was used on a glimmery black cardstock, and adhered onto the shadow cut in pearlescent vellum. The entire sentiment was adhered using small foam squares onto her inked panel, which was glued onto a black card base.

I really love the black & white contrast, plus the rainbow hue really pops!

She chose a 1:1 ratio for her second card. As you can see, she skipped a few rotations to leave a blank white space intentionally, giving room for the scripty sentiment in the centre. She chose “You are amazing” from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set.

She added a few rainbow gems which finished off her card perfectly!

Next, we have Jo’s burst of color shaker card! Jo used both Barrels from the stencil set for her design. But this time, she chose turning intervals of 45° for inking on both of the Barrels.

As compared to the previous two cards by Ashley, you can see that a smaller turning interval makes the pattern more dense and vice versa! You can see how simple it is to achieve different designs from a single stencil! And the best thing is that there is no masking needed for doing multi-colored designs!

She die cut her blended panel using one of the dies from Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die to form the shaker frame for her card. Then she stamped an image from Words From The Heart (Chapter 1) in the centre.

Ashley’s Super Adorable Just Because Card!

Hi guys! Ashley’s card for today will sure light up someone’s day!

Ashely combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Fun Night Out and Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp sets!

I love the scene that she created here! For her background, she die cut a piece of light blue cardstock cut using the largest die from our Dots Meets Dashes Large Rectangle Overlay die (and also die cut with a cloud stitched cover die); together with a piece of light green cardstock as the grassy field.

I love that she had the little cub server inside the truck, and she put so many different desserts into the paws of the little critters! Aren’t they cute!?

Those bright and colorful images were elevated onto foam squares and arranged on the card front. The sentiments from The Sweetest Truck were stamped out onto strips of light green cardstock in black ink, while the word TRUCK was die cut with some alphabet die set out of yellow patterned paper!

I love how she further decorated her card with a bunch of music notes which gave this card an extra ounce of happiness!

This card is super adorable, thank you Ashley for your fun and happy inspiration!

A Sweet Birthday Card by Vera!

HI! Today Vera shares a super sweet birthday card that will sure put a smile on someone’s face!

Vera stamped, colored and die cut fun images from The Sweetest Truck and the Penguin Agenda stamp sets.

I just love the overall pastel color palette on her card. This sweet truck is surrounded by super adorable penguins, ready to party! She even had the desserts displayed at the ice-cream truck window!

The white heat embossed “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” was from The Sweetest Truck stamp set. I really like them on pink strips of paper for a nice contrast! I love how the little splash of paint mimics confetti and their colors blend in cohesively with all the images!

Thank you so much Vera for this lovely card!

Jo’s Awesome Ice Cream Truck Scene!

Jo joins us today with a gorgeous card with lots of awesome details! You can watch her step-by-step video over on our YouTube Channel!

Jo blended a super dreamy sky with her own cloudy stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. She created a park scene where the ice-cream truck was parked against the sidewalk and a beautiful piece of lawn. All of her images from The Sweetest Truck stamp set were colored using Copic Markers and die cut using their coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I love her choices of sharp and vibrant colors!

She used may of the dessert images from the set and I just love how each of the character is holding on to their favourite treats! She also used Copics to sketch out the sidewalk and the grassy details which looks fantastic!

She finished off her card with one of the sentiments from the set, “wishing you truck loads of…” while stamping out “ICE CREAM, SWEETS, and DONUTS” together with a bunch of music notes as if music was coming from the truck!

Thank you so much or sharing this beautiful card with us today, Jo! It’s totally awesome and it just reminds me that Spring is here!
