Easter Greeting From Ashley!

Hi everyone! Ashley is back to share with us a super colorful Easter greeting Card!

Ashley made her own patterned paper using a few of the small images from the My BFF stamp set, by stamping them multiple times onto a panel of white cardstock. The images were coloured in with Copic markers.

I love how these images match nicely with the pink color cardstock and the patterned paper she used underneath.

Two bunnies and the sentiment “Have an Eggstra Special Easter” from the My BFF stamp set were stamped in black ink. The bunnies and sentiment were adhered onto the card with foam squares for the added dimension.

For a final touch ,she scattered sequins of various colors onto the card, and added some Wink of Stella glitter and glossy accents on the easter eggs!

Check out her video tutorial on this card over on our YouTube Channel by clicking HERE!

Thank you Ashley for sharing this gorgeous card! Happy Easter Monday everyone!

Jo’s Gorgeous Easter Greeting Card!

Hello crafty friends! Today Jo is back to cheer up everyone with her fun Easter Greeting card!

Jo’s card featured the new My BFF stamp set and coordinating dies.

She used a background die of hers to create this multi-storey backdrop for these cute little critters which I love!

She scattered her images across the different windows and it turns out really beautiful! The sentiment “Have An Eggstra Special Easter was stamped across the middle slot which fits perfectly!

These images were color blended so nicely. Head over to our YouTube Channel for this fun tutorial and give it a like!

Today we will be showcasing the new Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays and the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays.

Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die
Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die

These two sets coordinate perfectly with each other. The largest rectangle from the Large Overlays is 5.5″ x 4.25″, which is the size of the standard A2 card. The largest rectangle from the Small Overlays is 5″ x 3.75″. Besides giving you the most unique boarder detailing for your cards, they can be used to create layerings, and frames with simple modifications. These are for sure essential must-have items in your craft room.

Now let’s see what our Creative Team has created for us with these dies!

First we have Anja’s Easter greeting card! Her neat and simple card really makes the beautiful boarder details stand out! She used 3 different dies from the 2 sets. For the base, she chose a flowery patterned paper. For the middle layer she used just white cardstock and for the top layer she ink blended the white cardstock with scattered straw and squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide Inks. This card looks so elegant! She also used images from the My BFF stamps and cut them out with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Ashley made for us a 2-layer card. Her chevron patterned paper was cut using the Dots Meets Dashes (large size) die to fit a standard-sized card base. A smaller die was used to cut out a white piece, and then an even smaller die was used with an embossing mat to produce an embossed rectangular dots-meets-dashes pattern, inset into the piece. Such a clever idea! The adorable seal and sentiment are from The More We Get Together stamp set.

I really love the embossing technique that she used for this card. Head over to our YouTube channel and check out her video tutorial!

Up next is Vera’s card. Not only she added a boarder detailing with the largest die cut, she also used of one of the smaller rectangle die to create two dots and dashes frames for her card by cutting out the two extra windows. The cute couple is from The Sweetest Truck stamp set and the rest of the images and sentiments are from the There’s No One Like You stamp set.

Then we have Davina’s card. I love her choice of the bold patterned papers. The beautifully inked circular die cut pieces were used as canvases for her images. I just love the composition of everything! All of the images and sentiment are from The More We Get Together stamp set.

For today, I made a simple encouragement card. I created A1 sized card with some polka-dot note card from Lawn Fawn. Then using The Sandstone Series – Cool Granite – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock and The Sandstone Series – Wedding Dress – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock, I die cut 2 extra layers with the smaller rectangles from both the large and small rectangle overlays. The cute curry sauce images are from the Never Give Up stamp set. Finally I added the sentiment in bold black “Keep Calm and Curry On”! Hope you like it.

A BIG Thank-You to our wonderful and talented Creative Team! Head over to their blogs for more details on these cards.

Whether you enjoy making simple cards using just a couple of images from the set, or you’re like me who love creating fuller and bigger scenes with plenty of images, this set will give you endless possibilities!

Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented Creative Team!

First we have Ashley’s beautiful creation! I love the alcohol ink background she created to mimic the ocean. She used many of the images from the set to create a vibrant underwater scene! The cute sentiment finished the card off brilliantly!

Next we have Anja’s creation. I love how she had the little fish peeking out from coral reefs! So cute! I love how she stamped out the seaweeds multiple times to decorate her scene. This card is so bright and alive!

Next we have Jo’s card. We’re so excited to welcome Jo to our Creative Team! Jo is super talented and she will have so much more amazing videos to show everyone in the coming weeks! She created a gorgeous shaker card with this set. I love the way she set up her shaker card into three tires, and decorated the panel with the colorful images. It looks super awesome!

Next we have Vera and her set of cards. Vera made 3 cards and each of the cards has got its own special theme.

She stamped out a unique sentiment on each of her card. Each of these correlates to certain images from the set.

This set is so versatile and you can create lots of different scenes with the different elements. Do you see the elegant board details that she added to each of the cards? They were created with our Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die which we will showcase a bit later in the week.

Next we would like to showcase the new My BFF stamps set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

This 4×6″ stamp set has some of the most lovable critters. It is ideal for friendship and encouragement cards. These cool images can be used to create gorgeous Spring themed scenes, or fun Easter Greeting cards!

Ashley made a friendship card with this set. I love the Distress Oxide ink blended background with Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass and Milled Lavender. She added splatters of of rainbow watercolors to match cohesively with the blended background. Who can resist such cute bunnies and kitties? I just love this happy scene.

Anja created an Easter greeting card. She chose the cute bunnies from the set as her main characters. The easter eggs, smiley rainbow, flowers, tree and butterflies are perfect accessories to add to the whole scene.

Next we have Vera’s card. She made a clean friendship card with the two pair of kitties and bunnies. Notice how the leave cluster stamps for the tree can also be used as clouds in the sky? Loving the pastel tone of this card!

Finally we have Davina’s creation. She also made an Easter greeting card. I love the white gel pen details on all of the images. She also used an image of the sun from our Summer Sunshine stamp set and the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlays – Stand-Alone Die for the cool boarder detailing.
