Hello everyone! Before we go to today’s card, I’d like to give a warm reminder that our Spring 2020 new release is coming up real soon! Stay tuned for some sneak peeks starting on 22 Mar. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store!
She stamped out three of the cute bear slot machines from the set and colored them with Copic markers. She used a bunch of the accessory images to go on the wheels of the machines. The colour combinations are so lovely.
This card is a one layer card. She masked-off the three slot machines and blended the background with Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers.
I love the splatter of gold acrylic paint on top. The sentiment “May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor” was stamped with jet black ink at the bottom of the card. I love the bold sparkly letters “LUCKY” which she added to finish off her card.
Thank you Ashley! Your good luck card is super cheerful and bright!
She made a super gorgeous background using a combination of Distress Oxide Inks, namely lucky clover, shabby shutters, tumbled glass, and salty ocean.
I love the touch of liquid shimmer she splattered over the background. Her cute images were beautifully coloured using Copic markers. She added foam tape to some of the images to give the card a bit more dimension.
She added the sentiment “I’ll always be your cheerleader” from one of the sets, and some multi-coloured gems to finish off her card. I love her choice of colours which matches so well with the colours she used on her images.
She also used some adorable characters from the Fun Night Out stamp set. She copic-colored all of her images in shades of aqua, pink, peach, and violet. I love how she has light aqua colour on her card base and the pull tab to match the coloured slot machine. The gold polka dotted paper and the gold cardstock she chose also blend cohesively with the jackpot theme of the card.
She formed the pull-tab mechanism in a way that the 7s line up at the bottom when pulled! So clever! The big scripty word “YAY” and the touch of pink sequins gave the perfect finish to the card.
Please head over to Davina’s blog and see how she put this card together in details!
Thank you so much Davina, this has got to be one of my favourite cards of all time!
Hi All! We’d like to remind everyone that we are relocating! We’re in the middle of moving our company to Vancouver, Canada! We will be ready to accept orders from you again at our new location starting on 6 Jan 2020. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to continuing to do business with you all in Vancouver!
She blended three different shades of yellow of Distress Oxide Inks onto a white card panel. I like how show left a portion of white space to create a focal point in the centre of the card.
Images from the Lucky Break stamp set were stamped out in Copic-friendly black ink, and coloured in with Copic markers. The images were adhered to the card panel with foam squares to give them more dimensions. I love how she made the bear themed slot machine tilted on one side as if it was jumping together in joy with the happy little boy!
Together with the moving coins images she really created a dynamic look for the card!
She finished off the card with the special sentiment “MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR”, and some matching color sequins! Check out her video tutorial on our YouTube channel and give it a LIKE!
Thank you Ashley for this inspiration! I totally love how vibrant and dynamic this card looks!

Today we are showcasing our Lucky Break stamp set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts! This has got to be the very first teddy bear themed slot machine clear stamp out there!! Stamp out your favourite spinning symbols on the wheels and send good-luck vibes to your loved ones with these adorable images! This set is just so much fun!
Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented creative team!
First we have Vera and her charming creation. I’ve always loved her cards with the light and dreamy color tone. She chose water color as the medium this time. I really love how it looks.
The bold black sentiments really stand out from the background and the clear sequins add a nice finishing touch to the card!
Next we have Anja! She ink blended Mustard Seed and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink over white cardstock. I love the splatter of gold water color over the background!
I love how she added acetate to mimic the glass panels on the machine! I also love the gold heat-embossed letters “JACKPOT!!”.
Next we have Davina with her lovely bold and bright “raspberry lemonade” hued card!
I really love the vivid colours that she chose and the fun scene she’d created! From the blended background, the colourful images, choice of big scripty word, sentiments, the patterned paper, she executed this card to perfection! Love the white heat embossed sentiment that pops on the black cardstock, and all the white gel pen accents!
Next we have our Guest Designer, Megan’s card. Instead of using the slot machine image from the set, she chose the little foxy and the tiger playing in a card game!
I love the layering she has on this card. The different patterns/colors on the cardstock layers compliment nicely with colors she put on the stamped images.
I chose some vibrant Copic markers on the slot machines to match the Sandstone Series fine papers. I stamped out all the different symbols on the spinning wheels and lined up the same ones across the middle line to mimic a JACKPOT on ALL of the slot machines! 🙂 I finished off the card with a silvery powder heat embossed sentiment “MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR”, and added some extra coins on foam tape to create some more dimension to the card! I hope you like it!
A big Thank-You to our wonderful and talented Creative Team! Head over to their blogs for more details on these cards.
