Candice’s Birthday Card Inspiration!

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Candice is with us today sharing a birthday card with colors that are inspired by this month’s card challange!

I love how Candice used the Fun Doodle Dividers stamp set to create her own background! Always a great alternative to using patterned paper!

She die cut and assembled the I Made You a Cake stand-alone die using cardstock from Prism Packs (Volume I) and (Volume II).

The happy birthday sentiment is from Enchanting Paris. I love the glossy accents on the bottom icing for the extra shine!

We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challange! All you have to do to enter is use the challenge theme (color palette) to create a project that features at least one Penguin Palace product as the focal point. Full challenge rules can be found here.

This month’s challenge runs until May 30th at 11:59 PDT. We’ll select a winner to receive a $25 CAD gift certificate to ppstamps.com from challenge #13 and #14 which will be announced on July 1st at the beginning of challenge #15!

So what are you waiting for?! Simply link up your project over on our challange blog, and if you’re sharing to social media use the hashtag #penguinpalaceprojects! We’d also love for you to share your projects in our Penguin Palace Facebook group!

Thank you so much Candice for your charming inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Charming Birthday Card by Stephanie!

Hello crafty friends! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! Stephanie is back today to share a super colorful birthday card!

Stephanie used our I Made You a Cake stand-alone die to create this gorgeous looking centre piece.

She used a bunch of cardstock scraps cut in different widths to create this eye catching rainbow hue background. I love how she kept her 2-tier cake mostly white which makes it really pops from the background.

The yellow polka dots were made using a tiny hole puncher. The sentiment was from our Bond With Nature Canada stamp set which she white heat embossed onto the icing piece.

This card is clean and simple, yet so vibrant and charming. Thank you so much for sharing this with us Stephanie!

It’s always a good idea to have a bunch of birthday cards on hands! So why not join our Challenge # 2 over on our Challenge Blog and create you own birthday card! Our Challenge theme this month is BIRTHDAYS! Upload your creation for a chance to win a $25 Gift Card to our Shop (don’t forget to tag us using #penguinpalaceprojects)!
