Hello and welcome back to our blog! Today we are super excited to participate in
Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event for the very first time! Be sure to visit Tracey’s blog In My Creative Opinion for wonderful Christmas tag inspiration from our Penguin Palace Creative Team!
Today I’ve created for you a pair of X’mas tags with products from our earlier releases.
I first die cut two tags with our
Snow White – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock. It’s a bit hard to see from the photos but this unique cardstock has subtle watermarks in shapes of little raindrops.
Then I spread some Gina K Glitz Gel in Red Velvet and Turquoise Sea on the
Crystal Snowflakes – Penguin Perfect Patterns 6″ stencil to give each of the tags the shimmery snowflakes.
All of the adorable images are from the
Cuddly Sheep’s Season’s Greetings stamp set. These images were stamped in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, colored with Copics and die cut using the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.
Then I added two sentiments from the same stamp set. I stamped “Season’s Greetings” using Simon Hurley’s dye ink Remember Me, and “Happy Holidays” in Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink. I thought these colors went well with the backgrounds.
To complete the tags, I used some matching colors trimming and added some sparkly gems!
I hope you enjoy today’s little project.
Don’t forget to visit
Tracey’s blog today for lots more beautiful tag inspiration! Thank you so much Tracey for another fun 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!
Hi friends! Want some inspirational ideas for a Christmas card? Today we have a fantastic card created by Bobbi featuring the
Crystal Snowflakes – Penguin Perfect Patterns.
These beautiful snowflakes were created using
Frostbite Glacier Paste by Nuvo on the Crystal Snowflake Stencil. I love how Bobbi added a more subtle layer of stenciled snowflakes in grey for the color contrast.
The sentiment Merry X’mas was stamped in a
Memento Teal Zeal ink and die cut it with its coordinating die.
I love how she added a layer of vellum using the scalloped circular die from the
Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt notes die set to give it a softer look.
She then added a metallic silver string to make the sentiment look like a hanging ornament which is perfect since this image was designed three dimensionally as if the sentiment was engraved on a sphere!
For the sparkly touch, she added teal, white and aqua sequins, and teal dots using Glass Effects Gel in a teal color.
Mass producing X’mas cards is sure made super simple with this
Thank you Bobbi! Your card is so bright and beautiful!
Hello crafty friends! Today’s card has such wonderful Christmas vibes!
Ashley first prepared an A2 size cardstock die cut from
the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die. Using our Stencils 360°TM tool, she blended Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apples and Pine Needles onto the Sacred Lotus stencil in an alternating fashion as she rotated it. I just love how simple it is to create such a beautiful look of a poinsettia!
The sentiment “Hugs” from the
Heartfelt Notes stamp set was stamped in light yellow ink on a small white circular piece of stitched cardstock.
I love how she then layered that onto a piece of glittery yellow cardstock cut with the scalloped circle die from the
Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes coordinating Penguin cuts. The glittery yellow sure gives a nice contrast to the deep red flower!
Finally the entire panel was adhered onto a piece of gold foil cardstock for the shiny and glamours look!
Thank you so much Ashley! This card reminds me so much of Christmas!

Now for today,
Anja shares with us a beautiful set of three X’mas cards featuring our Cuddly Sheep’s Season’s Greeting stamp set and its coordinated Penguin Perfect Cuts.
I love how she matches her ink blending with the color of her card base. Ink blending were all done using Distress Ink and Distress Oxide inks.
She chose one cute image from the stamp set on each of her card.
I love the way she coloured her images that they are all in such harmony with the blended sky and the card base.
She stamped out the sentiment “May your X’mas be Bright” and white heat-embossed them which make them really pop from the dark coloured cardstocks!
Thank you so much
Anja! These are so lovely!
Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome day!
