Travel-Themed Handmade Cards with Allison and Gladys!

Hi guys! It’s been quite a stressful year for many of us, and I cannot wait for things to get better and us to be able to travel again!

Today I’m sharing two travel-themed cards created by our Creative Team members, Allison and Gladys.

Allison combined images from the Fun Adventure stamp set and the Enchanting Paris stamp set to create this gorgeous scene!

She used the Classic Diamonds Backdrop – Stand-Alone Die for her background. I love the white-on-white background and the contrasting black back panel combination. They go so well with the pink and black palette she used for her adorable images!

I just love the idea of the girl going on on a trip with Paris in her thought bubble, super cute! Allison white heat embossed the big bold letters “BON VOYAGE” from Fun Adventure, and she added some black and silver sequins and gems to complete the look!

Next we have Gladys’s card. She made this slimline card to showcase Paris as well!

She used the polaroid die from Twist-n-Pop Surprise – Stand-Alone Die to capture all the beautiful things that Paris has to offer, baked goods, Eiffel tower, and the SHOPPING!!

Using patterned paper, she cut a slimline back panel using one of the dies from the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die. I love the simple dotted border details! She used the cute images from the Enchanting Paris stamp set and arranged them into her three polaroids. I also love with the soft pastel palette she chose which is so dreamy!!

For her backgrounds, she blended a combination of Distress Oxides including Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed, Abandoned Coral, Broken China and Kitsch Flamingo.

Thank you so much Allison and Gladys for sharing your wonderful inspirations! These cards are super adorable!

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!

A Lovely Encouragement Card by Anja!

Hi friends! Anja has made a super sweet encouragement card for us all! This positive energy is absolutely something we all need during these times!

She used the Classic Diamonds Backdrop stand-alone die for her background, and added boarder details with the largest die from the the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays Stand Alone die set. She added a white back panel underneath for a white on white effect which gives it a nice clean look!

She then die cut a smaller panel from the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangle Overlays. To decorate this panel, she used the rainbow image from the My BFF stamp set, and stamp it multiple times with VersaMark ink and white heat embossed them – such a cool idea! She also did the same thing using the butterfly stamp from the set.

I love the vibrant colors she used on her images and the light yellow really gives it a refreshing feel!

She added a little black and white trimming to give it a nice detail. And finally adhered this panel to the diamond backdrop with foam tape for some added dimension!

Thank you so much Anja! These cute rainbows sure put smiles on our faces!
