A Dazzling Good Luck Card with Ashley E.

Hello everyone! Before we go to today’s card, I’d like to give a warm reminder that our Spring 2020 new release is coming up real soon! Stay tuned for some sneak peeks starting on 22 Mar. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store!

Today Ashley is back to share a vibrant and sparkly card featuring the Lucky Break stamp set!

She stamped out three of the cute bear slot machines from the set and colored them with Copic markers. She used a bunch of the accessory images to go on the wheels of the machines. The colour combinations are so lovely.

This card is a one layer card. She masked-off the three slot machines and blended the background with Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers.

I love the splatter of gold acrylic paint on top. The sentiment “May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor” was stamped with jet black ink at the bottom of the card. I love the bold sparkly letters “LUCKY” which she added to finish off her card.

Thank you Ashley! Your good luck card is super cheerful and bright!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Fun Interactive Pull-Tab Card with Davina!

Hi Everybody! It’s been a while! Hope all of our Penguin Palace fans are doing well! We’re so glad to announce that we have now officially relocated our shop base to Vancouver, Canada!

Today Davina has a clever interactive pull-tab card to share with us! And I’m sure you’re gonna love it!

This card is super fun because when you pull on the tab, the 7’s line up at the bottom for a winning JACKPOT!

Davina used the cute bear-themed slot machine from the Lucky Break stamp set and the Lucky Break Penguin Perfect Cuts which is perfectly customised for this stamp set.

She also used some adorable characters from the Fun Night Out stamp set. She copic-colored all of her images in shades of aqua, pink, peach, and violet. I love how she has light aqua colour on her card base and the pull tab to match the coloured slot machine. The gold polka dotted paper and the gold cardstock she chose also blend cohesively with the jackpot theme of the card.

She formed the pull-tab mechanism in a way that the 7s line up at the bottom when pulled! So clever! The big scripty word “YAY” and the touch of pink sequins gave the perfect finish to the card.

Please head over to Davina’s blog and see how she put this card together in details!

Thank you so much Davina, this has got to be one of my favourite cards of all time!

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
