A Colorful Mini Slimline Card With Guest Designer Michelle!

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by! Our Guest Designer Michelle Short is sharing a delightful rainbow hue mini slimline card over at her blog today!

Her card features the We Are Right For Each Other stamp set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

She stamped out some adorable images from this set and Copic Colored them before die cutting them out with the coordinating dies.

She also picked out some words to form this lovely sentiment. I love how these words stamp to fit perfectly onto the puzzle pieces!

For the background, She blended Distress Inks in rainbow hues on to a panel of white cardstock and spritzed water on top for the extra texture.

Once dried, it was adhered to the mini slimline card base with foam tape and then the images added on top with more foam tape.

I love the wide contrasting black border which I think really brings out the rainbow colors!

Thank you so much Michelle, your card is super adorable! We are thrilled to have you Guest Design for us for the past few weeks!

Adorable Mini Slimline and Tags with Guest Designer Michelle!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends! We are super excited as Michelle Short will be Guest Designing for us in the coming few weeks!

For today, Michelle made an adorable mini slimline and tags featuring the new Inseparable stamp set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I personally love clean and simple design and I love what she’s created here!

For her mini slimline, she die cut a heart to set the scene and ink blended it with Distress Inks. The family of cuddly bears are from the Inseparable stamp set.

The sentiment ‘Special Delivery’ was white heat embossed on black cardstock and die cut using the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. She simply finished it off with some clear gems.

For her tag, she Copic coloured the images and added Crystal Glaze to the purple hearts on the mini envelopes. The sentiment ‘sending warm hugs’, from Unity and Friendship Quotes, is also white heat embossed on black cardstock.

If you look closely, I really like how the coordinating die-cut for this sentiment cuts close to the texts. She then finished off the tag with some iridescent bubbles and twine.

I just love the nice clean looks of these projects!

Thank you Michelle for your beautiful inspirations!

A Mini Slimline Egyptian Desert Scene By Stephanie!

Hi guys! We’ve had a long weekend over here and the week seems to be passing by quickly! Today Stephanie is back with an Egyptian themed mini slimline card!

All these cute images are from the Mysterious Egypt stamp set and die cut using its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. This mini slimline panel was cut using the largest rectangle die from Cinematic Shadow Box stand-alone die.

These faux stitch detailed wavy landscapes were created using dies from the Desert Landscape Scene Builder Dies & Stencil set. This Dies & Stencil set also has some other innovative and functional uses, do check out this intro video if you haven’t yet!

I love how Stephanie stamped out a bunch of the images twice to make the scene even fuller and more interesting! I also love all the little details like how the cute mummy is peeking out its coffin!

Thank you so much Stephanie for sharing this fun and charming card!

Thank you for stopping by, have a great evening!

A Mini Slimline Interactive Card With Gladys!

Hello and Happy Friday everyone! Today Gladys is back to share a super adorable Mini-Slimline Interactive card featuring our new stamp set Beautiful Africa and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Gladys used one of the dies from Cinematic Shadow Box to die cut her panel. I love the gorgeous background which was blended using a combination of Distress Oxide Inks including Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw.

She also took the pull tab die from Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die to create the pull tab mechanism. I love how she made the cute lion appear from behind the jeep with the pull tab – such a brilliant idea!

The sentiment “It’s time to soak up the sun” from Beautiful Africa is the perfect match for this charming little scene! Thank you so much Gladys for sharing this delightful interactive card!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration, and thank you for stopping by!
