Hello and welcome back to the Penguin Palace blog!
If you happen to be looking for handmade Christmas Ornament ideas, look no further! Our Guest Designer Allison is sharing some adorable shaker ornaments with us today!
These shaker ornaments are just so cute! Allison used the Dahlia Stencils 360° to create two backgrounds in the traditional Christmas palette, red and green.
She die cut the backgrounds with a circle die and added a circular ornament die cut and a piece of acetate on top to form her shaker. I love the shimmery snowflakes embellishments to compliment the wintry scenes!
These adorable images and sentiment are from Sounding Joy stamp set, and they are the perfect additions to these ornaments!
Thank you so much Allison, your projects are so pretty!

You’ll be amazed by what these simple patterns can create when spun! Each of the 8″ stencil alone make beautiful ornaments. Then add some sparkles using the 6″ design, or overlay the 4″ stencil for a different look!
Today we have two wonderful Guest Designers sharing their creations with you. First we have Jeannie!
I am in love this rainbow hue card! Jeannie just used one of the 8″ stencil alone on this card, but it already creates this incredible overlay effect with all the different colors! Gorgeous!
I love how she added holographic cardstock strips in a star like pattern for the extra shine!!
The cute penguin and sentiment here are from the Penguin Agenda stamp set!
Next we have Jessica‘s card! She blended Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides wth one of the 8″ stencil from the set, achieving this dreamy look!
Then for the sparkle, she applied some iridescent glitter gel using the 6″ snowflake design stencil to the center of the blended pattern!
I love the gold heat embossed sentiments against black cardstock. They are from the So Blessed stamp set. The matching color gems finished the card perfectly!
You ASKED. We LISTENED! We are releasing more BIG sentiment dies! Our next showcase is the You Make Me Smile Stand-alone die.
First is Mimi’s card! She die cut this sentiment twice to create more dimension.
I really like the light pink and cyan color combo! Love the white gel pen accents on these bold letters!
The cute images and Ping Me Anytime sentiment are from the Penguin Agenda stamp set!
I’ve also made a card for today’s showcase. I kind of went for a non-traditional color palette this time.
I copic colored some adorable bears from Miniature Teddy Bear stamp set and popped them on my card with a bit of foam tape, finished it off with some matching color gems!
There you have our inspirations for today! If you haven’t done so, head over to our Day 1 post and participate in our BLOG + IG GIVEAWAYS!This is your LAST CHANCE! You have until 9:00pm PST tonight to enter!
Tomorrow will be our Reveal Wrap Up and this week’s Giveaway Winners announcement so be sure to come back! Then in June, we will take a look at some of the other products from our new release with more Giveaways, stay tuned!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
She then added a metallic silver string to make the sentiment look like a hanging ornament which is perfect since this image was designed three dimensionally as if the sentiment was engraved on a sphere!
For the sparkly touch, she added teal, white and aqua sequins, and teal dots using Glass Effects Gel in a teal color.
Mass producing X’mas cards is sure made super simple with this stencil!
Thank you Bobbi! Your card is so bright and beautiful!
