Fun Card Featuring Let’s Meet IRL by Candice!

Hi Crafty Friends! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! As we gradually head to the new ‘normal’ here in Vancouver, we have today a fun card to share with you!

Candice used the Let’s Meet IRL stamp set to create this adorable card inspired by this month’s sketch challenge!

I love the patterned paper she created by stamping several of the small images from Let’s Meet IRL using Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink onto a black cardstock background.

She used Distress Oxide inks to blend a purple tone galaxy onto her die-cut circular center piece and added the cute pups and wrapped gift from the set which she die-cut with the coordinating dies.

For a contrast to the dark background she added a white sentiment strip to finish off.

Thank you Candice for this charming inspiration!

We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challenge! All you have to do to enter is use the challenge sketch to create a project that features at least one Penguin Palace product as the focal point. Full challenge rules can be found here.

This month’s challenge runs until April 13th at 11:59 PDT. We’ll select a winner to receive a $25CAD Gift Certificate to ppstamps.com which will be announced on April 15th at the beginning of our next challenge on our Challenge Blog!

A Sweet Birthday Card by Vera!

HI! Today Vera shares a super sweet birthday card that will sure put a smile on someone’s face!

Vera stamped, colored and die cut fun images from The Sweetest Truck and the Penguin Agenda stamp sets.

I just love the overall pastel color palette on her card. This sweet truck is surrounded by super adorable penguins, ready to party! She even had the desserts displayed at the ice-cream truck window!

The white heat embossed “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” was from The Sweetest Truck stamp set. I really like them on pink strips of paper for a nice contrast! I love how the little splash of paint mimics confetti and their colors blend in cohesively with all the images!

Thank you so much Vera for this lovely card!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Fun Interactive Shaker Card by Ashley Y.!

Hi crafty friends! We’d like to remind everyone that we are relocating! We’re in the middle of moving our company to Vancouver, Canada! We will be ready to accept orders from you again at our new location starting on 6 Jan 2020. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to continuing to do business with you all in Vancouver!

Today Ashley has for us a gorgeous shaker card featuring our new release Fun Night Out stamp set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts!

I love the Distress Oxide inks in rainbow colours which were blended onto a white card panel through the Cyber Wallpaper stencil. On this card Ashley die-cut two small holes so that she could later hide two nickels behind with a popped up base to make the two cute puppies shake and dance around!

As per the puppies, the disco ball and dance floor images are all from the Fun Night Out stamp set. The cute pups shake around with this simple mechanism and they look super cute! Such a clever idea from Ashley!

Check out this card in action below, and head over to our YouTube Channel to watch in detail how this card was created!

Thank you Ashley for this inspiration! This interactive card is just too cute!!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

A Dreamy Holiday Card with Davina!

Hi there! Today Davina is back to share a dreamy holiday card with us! Looks like a bunch of happy penguins are having a party and the adorable mermaid is here to join in on the fun!

Davina made a slimline card or 6.25 inches using multiple images from our earlier releases, including the Penguin Agenda stamp set & coordinating dies, and the Get Well Soon stamp set & coordinating dies. She also used our new release Crystal Snowflakes Penguin Perfect Pattern – Designer Stencil for this card.

I love her sky background which was inked up using Distress Oxide Ink Pink Spun Sugar and Dusty Concord. The ocean was blended using Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. The splash of bright white ink added a little more depth to the ocean.

She chose the white embossing paste as the medium with the Crystal Snowflakes Stencil on her blended sky, to create the perfect dreamy snowy scene! The pretty music notes are from the Fun Night Out stamp set, while the pretty mermaid is from the Get Well Soon stamp set.

I love the light pastel colors for all her characters and the whole card comes together so well in this sunset/dusk scene.

Thank you Davina for this fun card! Besides the cute images, I really love the balloons and hats accessories and the happy vibe of this card!

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

A Celebration Birthday Card with Davina + Fall/Winter Release Sneak Peek!

Hello Everyone! Warm reminder that our Fall/Winter 2019 Release Preview + Giveaway starts on 7 Oct, and our Release & Inspiration Chapter + Giveaway starts on 13 Oct! And we are very excited to show you another fun Penguin Peek below! Can anyone guess what this is? Leave us your comments below! We just can’t wait to show you our new release!

Today we have Davina with her fun birthday card featuring products from our earlier release, including the Birthday Unicorn stamp set, its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts, and our Let’s Celebrate stand-alone die cut!

Davina made such a beautiful violet toned ink blended background and die cut it with our Let’s Celebrate stand-alone die. She chose a white card base so that the confetti cut-outs pop out instantly! This right away sets a really fun and happy background for her card!

I love they way she coloured the adorable unicorn images from our Birthday Unicorn stamp, as they blend seamlessly with the background. I also love how she also used additional confetti from the stamp set and die cut them using the stamp’s coordinating dies, in order to create another confetti layer on top. This really gives it more dimensions!

The gold heat embossed sentiment “Let’s Party” and the little cake beside it add the perfect finishing touches to her card!

Thank you so much Davina for your wonderful inspiration! I think your card is so charming!

Thanks very much for dropping by, have a great day!
