Gladys used one of the dies from Cinematic Shadow Box to die cut her panel. I love the gorgeous background which was blended using a combination of Distress Oxide Inks including Blueprint Sketch, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw.
She also took the pull tab die from Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die to create the pull tab mechanism. I love how she made the cute lion appear from behind the jeep with the pull tab – such a brilliant idea!
The sentiment “It’s time to soak up the sun” from Beautiful Africa is the perfect match for this charming little scene! Thank you so much Gladys for sharing this delightful interactive card!
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration, and thank you for stopping by!

Today’s first showcase is the Cinematic Shadow Box stand-alone dies. Unlike other smaller shadow boxes you’ve seen, this die set allows you to create a much wider box to house even more adorable characters for the perfect scene! With the background panel plus 4 nos. of insert tabs, you can have as many as 5 layers in your shadow box with the 2″ depth! How awesome is that?!
Check out this amazing scene Ashley created with this Cinematic Shadow Box! Her background was ink blended beautifully using Distress Oxide inks in Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber with a touch of gold splatter. She placed her adorable images from the Beautiful Africa stamp set on the four insert tabs. She stamped out a sweet sentiment from the set onto the front decorative panel. This card is super fun and vibrant!
Stephanie designed this card with the idea of a Luau in mind. I love how she added the wavy slopes (die cut from the Desert Landscape Scene Builder dies) to the insert tabs. She also used the Mountain Landscape Scene Builder die to add the mountains silhouette on her back panel! The cute images from Aloha Hawaii stamp set were arranged on the different levels of the Cinematic Shadow Box. What an awesome scene!
Candice used images from the Beautiful Africa stamp set for her shadow box. I love how she ink blended her two side panels and all of the 5 insert tabs with Distress Oxide Ink in Cracked Pistachio to achieve the green forest look! The blue sky was also beautifully blended. The punny sentiment “You Are Ele-Phantastic” finished off the card perfectly!
As promised, please click HERE to watch the step by step video on our YouTube Channel!
The next product we’d like to showcase today is the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab stand-alone dies! This set has four different lengths of slit die cuts you can choose from to cut out tracks to form the moving mechanism. This set also includes two slimline rectangle stackables with neat and simple dotted borders that is ideal for all different types of greeting cards!
Allison made an incredible scene using the images from Beautiful Africa. She colored all images with Copics. I love how she altered the images of the jeep and the little girl, combined them with the pull tab mechanism to make it look like she was cruising in the jeep – how clever! I also like how she layered the trees for the added dimension. To finish off she added a super sweet sentiment “I love you, no lion”!
Gladys’s card is super adorable. I love how she arranged her pull tab to make the lion (from Beautiful Africa) appear from behind the bush! It sure will put a smile on the recipient’s face! I also adore the soft-tone she adopted, which adds a special warm vibe to this safari scene!
If you’ve been following since our Sneak Peeks, you would have seen my card above. I created a desert scene with images from Beautiful Africa. The three dimensional sand dunes were created using the Desert Landscape Scene Builder Dies & Stencil Set. This new set gives you the tools for making beautiful and unique landscapes, especially on slimline cards. I adhered the camel to my pull tab to make it stroll along the desert! If you haven’t yet watch my step by step tutorial on this Pull Tab die set, please click HERE to watch it over on our YouTube Channel!

Hi crafty friends! I’m really excited about today’s Sneak Peeks because today’s card is made with some of my favourite products in this release! As I promised, you’ll see brand new clear stamps that have the “Around the World” theme, and today’s stamp set is themed around….Egypt! Isn’t that the coolest?!
I made this slimline pull tab interactive card using a new stand-alone die set from our release. This set has four different lengths of slit die cuts which you can choose to cut out tracks to form your moving mechanism. Here I wanted the camel to stroll along the desert! This set also includes two slimline rectangle stackables with simple dotted borders that is ideal for all different types of greeting cards!
See the desert landscape and the three dimensional sand dunes background? This was created using the Desert Scene Builder Dies + Stencil (2 in 1) set. This new set gives you the tools for making beautiful and unique landscapes, especially on slimline cards. Stay tuned for our step-by-step tutorial over on our YouTube Channel.
I’d love to know what you think about this card. Leave me a message down below. Be sure to come back tomorrow for more!
Laura made a beautiful underwater scene using the images from The More We Get Together stamp set. All of the images were colored using Copic Markers.
While masking-off her colored images on the card, her background was beautifully ink blended using Chipped Sapphire, Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. She splattered water over the panel to create some nice texture.
Laura made her own pull tab and rotating mechanism, so that the blow fish would move up and down, while the seal’s arm would lift up at the same time with its thumbs up! Such a clever design!!
See how she put together this interactive card in detail by watching her video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!
Thank you so much Laura for your out of the world inspiration! Double thumbs up!
