A Sparkly Encouragement Card by Ashley!

Hi there everyone! Ashley is sharing a quick and easy encouragement card featuring products from our earliest releases!

To build her background, Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in a red colour was applied through the Rain of Hearts stencil onto a piece of red cardstock. While that dried, images from the Get Well Soon stamp set were stamped in black ink and coloured with Copic markers. She had a few sentiments of her own from My Favourite Things, and cut them into a couple strips.

The dried hearts panel was glued onto a red card base with a red patterned paper border. The images and sentiment banners were adhered to the card front with foam squares.

Thanks Ashley for this nice and simple yet dazzling card! Check out her video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!

A Shiny and CAS Creation with Ashely!

Hi guys! Ashley is back today with a clean and simple creation, using Deco Foil Transfer Gel with our Rain of Hearts stencil, and one of our earlier released stamp sets, Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2).

Ashley applied Deco Foil Transfer Gel to a white card base with the Rain of Hearts stencil and allowed it to dry. Once dried, rose gold foil was placed overtop and the paper + foil were sandwiched between some parchment paper before being run through a laminator.

These super cute cheerleaders were from the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp and were stamped in black ink and coloured with Copic markers, then die cut using the coordinating dies.

The word “Hooray” was die-cut, along with its shadow, in white and black paper respectively. Everything was adhered to the card panel, which was adhered onto a white card base.

Thanks Ashley for your CAS & adorable card!

Thanks for dropping by! Hope we’ve brightened up your Monday!

Super Fun Interactive Slider Card with our Guest Designer Debby!

Hi All! I’m so excited that Debby Van Diepen’s guest designing for us again this week! She made a fun interactive slider card using our new release Fun Night Out stamp set & dies, and the Rain of Hearts – Penguin Perfect Patterns, designer stencil! Let’s check it out!

I love the way she masked-off the card to create a triangular shaped spotlight with a rainbow color blend just below the disco ball! For this middle portion of the card, she chose Distress Oxide inks Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. She then blended the rest of the card using Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet. On top of that she did another layer of blending using Spun Sugar with the Rain of Hearts stencil!

I love how she stamped out 3 puppies and put them side by side. Love the colors and the gel pen detailing on the puppies. They look super cute with the slider mechanism! Check out the card in action below!

The sentiment, sequins and music notes gave the card the perfect finishing touches!

Thank you so much Debby. I love the layered blending on this card!

How Are You Feeling?

Hi everyone! Ali is back with us to share a Just Because card with us featuring our Rain of Hearts Penguin Perfect Pattern – Designer Stencil!

I love how Ali used the stencil with Distress oxide inks to created the abundant hearts background which fades out towards the edges.

She added a cute penguin from our Penguin Agenda stamp set.

She also white heat-embossed the sentiment “how are you feeling…?” from the same set on a black strip of paper and put it across the centre of the card to make an eye catchy bold statement.

Since this stencil can create quite a rich background on its own, some big scripty die-cut letters “crafty friend” would finish off the card nicely without overdoing it.

Thanks Ali for sharing! I’m feeling crafty already!
