A Colorful Interactive Friendship Card by Ashley!

Hello crafty friends! Ashley is back today to share a beautiful friendship card featuring the My BFF stamps set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts! Check out her full video tutorial HERE!

I love the pinkish inked background that Ashley had created. She used Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar, with a cloudy stencil. For the hillside grassy fields, she used Distress Oxide inks in Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron, together with a grassy stencil. She also used the largest die from the Dots Meets Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays stand-alone die for the boarder detail.

All of the images are from the My BFF stamp set, and were colored with Copic markers. See how some of the images from the set can be used as clouds as well as leaf clusters? I can’t get enough of these cute smiley faces!

I love that she added a wavy slider channel for the kitty in the trolley to glide across the hillside!

She stamped out the sentiment “Thank you for being a great friend” from the set in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Finally she splattered some sequins to add some extra sparkle to this dreamy scene!

Thank you so much Ashley! This scene is just full of fun and happiness!

Ashley’s Interactive Slider Card!

Hi everyone! Ashley joins us today with a cute interactive slider card featuring products from our latest release! You can check out her step-by-step video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!

She used Distress Oxide Inks for the background blending on the main panel. Antique Linen and Vintage Photo were blended for the sand; Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass were blended for the water. She used a homemade stencil (vellum cut with a wavy border die on the top and bottom) to create the seabed and for masking purposes during blending.

I love the splatter of liquid shimmer and white paint for the added texture. Images from the The More We Get Together stamp set were stamped in black ink and coloured with Copic markers and die cut using their coordinating dies. I really love that she added a wavy slider channel into the card panel for the kitty-blow fish to swim across the ocean!

I love how the little fishy is peeking out from the coral reefs! She also used he Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays and Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangle Overlays stand-alone die cuts for some nice boarder details.

Lastly, a few circular sequins were added for just the right amount of extra sparkle!

Thanks so much Ashley for your lovely card! It is so so cute!
