Adorable Christmas Ornaments by Allison!

Hello and welcome back to the Penguin Palace blog!

If you happen to be looking for handmade Christmas Ornament ideas, look no further! Our Guest Designer Allison is sharing some adorable shaker ornaments with us today!

These shaker ornaments are just so cute! Allison used the Dahlia Stencils 360° to create two backgrounds in the traditional Christmas palette, red and green.

She die cut the backgrounds with a circle die and added a circular ornament die cut and a piece of acetate on top to form her shaker. I love the shimmery snowflakes embellishments to compliment the wintry scenes!

These adorable images and sentiment are from Sounding Joy stamp set, and they are the perfect additions to these ornaments!

Thank you so much Allison, your projects are so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by! Merry X’mas to everyone!

Today we are showcasing two new additions to our Stencils 360° line!

Gazania Stencils 360°

The floral design created with these stencils has close resemblance to a Gazania, also known as Treasure Flower which represents wealth and richness!

Candice used Stencil A to create this gorgeous background by spinning it at 22.5 degree intervals.

She turned this into a fun Christmas card by added a Christmas tree image from The new Sounding Joy stamp set. The sentiment is from Magical Christmas Sentiment.

I love the touch of gold accents she added behind the Christmas tree!

For my card below I started by spinning Stencil A at 15 degree interval, and followed by 22.5 degree intervals, using two different ink colors.

I then used Stencil B for inking and spun it at 30 degree intervals using a darker shade.

Finally I spun Stencil C at 30 degree intervals to add details to the center of the flower. I just love the depth that the combination of overlays create. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Notes.

Mediterranean Stencils 360°

Mediterranean style features bold designs emphasizing textures and unique color palettes. With these stencils, you can experiment with earthy tones like terracotta, yellow, turquoise, or metallic in copper and gold. You just might find your new favourite ink color combo while playing with this stylish design!

By changing the turning interval of the stencil, I was able to create two very different designs for my cards.

I used a 45 and 30 degree intervals for the first and second card respectively. I wanted to choose color palettes that would accentuate the Mediterranean vibes.

I then popped these backgrounds onto bright vibrant back panels which complement these color palettes.

All the sentiments are from Heartfelt Notes stamp set.

I clear heat embossed the sentiment in this card to make it stand out even more from the background.

And that concludes our 5 Days Countdown! Thank you so much for sticking with us this week! All of your favourite products will hit the shop tomorrow at 9AM PST! . Last chance to leave your comments on our blogs for a chance to win as giveaway closes TONIGHT at 9:00p.m. PST!

Thank you so much!

A Magical Creation with Guest Designer Ilda!

Hello friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Let’s hop right in to our inspiration for today. We’re super excited to have Ilda Dias guest designing for us!

Her card features the latest Fancy Gift Bow Stencils 360°. She ink blended three different pastel colors on one of the 8” stencil from this set and rotated it at 30deg intervals (jumping from circle to circle) to create this dreamy background! So beautiful!

She then used the 6” stencil and apply iridescent glitter gel over it to create this icy frozen fractal look!

She added a white heat embossed sentiment from So Blessed stamp set that was die cut with its coordinating dies. She also finished her card with some matching iridescent gems!

This card certainly reminds me of the movie Frozen, Christmas and Snowflakes!

Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration Ilda!

Thanks for stopping by everyone, have a great rest of the week!

Time flies! Welcome to Day 5 of our June Inspiration Week! If you still haven’t done so, please head over to our blog Giveaway Post from Wednesday or to our IG Giveaway Post where you can leave your comments for chances to win a Special Goodie Bag worth over $170CAD/$130USD!

Today we’ll be showcasing two more products from our Spring/Summer 2022 new release, the So Blessed stamp set and the You Are Amazing stand-alone die cut!

First up we have Mimi who created this charming shaker ‘Thank You’ card for us!

I really adore the layout of this card. The heart shape cut-out is just the perfect fit for this Thank you shaker! The soft violet tone gives a very sweet and calm feel which I totally love!

Candice also made a Thank You card for us today. I love how she stamped out the bouquet on both the top and the bottom, creating a focal point for the big scripty Thank You in the center.

The watercoloring on this is so gorgeous! This Thank You stamp is sized just right to be the focal point of any A2 size card. I love the splatter of colors that completes this card perfectly!

Then we have Guest Designer’s Yan’s creation! I love the soft no-line watercolored bouquet on white, combined with the light grey back panel.

The white trimming add just the right amount of detail!

Our next showcase for today is the You Are Amazing stand-alone words die.

Julie‘s first card has a vintage vibe to it, it’s so beautiful! Love all the layering stamped out using the bouquet image from the So Blessed stamp set.

I love that she die cut the words die out of bright white cardstock to match the thick white bold border of the card.

She then went for a more fun design for her second card. The black letters really pop from the colorful background!

The cute mini bears are from the Miniature Teddy Bear stamp set. I love the white gel pen details on these fun quirky fonts, they look amazing!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s inspirations! Tomorrow is our June Inspiration Week Wrap Up and Winners Reveal! Don’t miss it!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
