New Video – An Adorable Congratulations Card with Ashley!

Hi crafty friends! Ashley is back today to share a fun and cute congratulations card to start off this week!

Ashley die cut it a standard A2 size panel using the largest die from the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die.

To create this gorgeous background, she combined the new Stencils 360°TM tool with the Origami Shuriken Stencils 360°TM and ink blended using a trio of Distress Oxide Inks, including Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron at 15° turning interval. She masked off the bottom half of her card during the blending process to make sure only half of the full 360° pattern is shown.

These cute cheerleaders and critters are from the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp set, they all look like they’re having a wonderful time!

To complete her card, she die cut a scripty “congrats” and stamped out a punny sentiment from the same stamp set, and added a few gems to give her card some extra sparkle!

Thank you Ashley for your fun card! Thank you for stopping by!

Cuteness Overload!!

Hello! I just had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with my family here in Canada and I’m super grateful. To start this week off, I have two super cute cards from our Creative Team!

First up we have Ashley’s Happy Birthday card!

Oh boy, this card is so full of positive energy!! I love how Ashley made this colorful background using the Waterspout Stencils 360TM. Good news is that this stencil already comes in the Stencils 360TM Starter Kit!

Ashley cut her card panel with the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays for some added border detailing.

Using the Waterspout Stencils 360TM, she chose a turning interval of 30° and blended a variety of rainbow colors for her background using Distress Oxide inks (Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet). She chose a pair of adorable puppies from Fun Night Out for her focal images, along with some accessory images and coloured them in Copic Markers.

To finish off, she added some gems to give it the extra sparkly look! Such a fun and happy card!

Next we have Bobbi’s slimline creation. Her card measures 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall, and she paired the Never Lose Hope Shadow Dies with the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 1) stamp and coordinating die sets.

I just love the composition of this card! She used the trio of fans in the centre and added the Never Lose Hope shadow die as her bold sentiment. I love how she gave each fan the extra colorful flag to wave! Super cute!

She stamped the leaping frog head, cut that out using the heart shape part of the shadow phrase die and added it to the heart in the word “HOPE”. This resonates with the frog leaping on top!

Additional windy swirls were added using a Uni-ball Pen Signo white gel Pen to complete her card.  The sentiment “Take a Leap of Faith” adds the perfect finishing touch.

Thank you so much Ashley and Bobbi for your amazing creations!
