adorable cute street scene

An Interactive Cinematic Shadow Box – A Busy Street Scene!

Hi! I hope all of you are having a great week! Today I am sharing one of the biggest shadow scene I’ve ever made! This card is themed around a busy street with lots of fun elements!

I used the Cinematic Shadow Box stand alone die cut to create the backbone of my card. You can have up to 4 tabs in this shadow box which gives great dimension and lots of room to fit ample stamped images!

I combined images from a bunch of different stamp sets including The Sweetest Truck, Rabbit Cafe, Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2), Fun Adventure, and Sweet Ride.

I thought why not take it to the next level and combine this shadow box with an interactive element! I used the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die to make the Ice Cream truck move down this busy street!

Check out this card in action below!

I used the Sidewalk Scene Builder – Stand-Alone Die to die cut the two sidewalks on The Sandstone Series – Smokey Eyes – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock and then added splashes of paints. For the background wall, I blended Distress Oxide Inks on the Mega Blocks stencil and die cut it using the large dotted border die from the Cinematic Shadow Box.

I just love making these mini scenes on this shadow box! Acetate played a big part in the assembly of this card.

I used acetate for a couple of the tabs in the box so that the road background could show through. I added acetate to mimic the Ice Cream Truck’s windows. I also used it for placing the music notes that are coming from the ice-cream truck!

To keep everything in perspective, I laid out the images so that larger characters go near the front and smaller ones go at the back.

I stamped out a sentiment from The Sweetest Truck on the front tab of the box which I had trimmed down to show more of the sidewalk at the bottom.

I hope you enjoyed this inspiration and thank you so much for stopping by!

A Coffee Themed Friendship Card with Anja!

Hi guys! Anja is back today sharing a super adorable coffee themed friendship card!

Anja combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Rabbit Café, and There’s No One Like You stamp sets to create this gorgeous scene!

I love how she masked off the ice cream images from the Truck, stamped out the coffee cups and donuts on the truck instead, and turned it into a coffee truck!

I love the way she built her scene, with the truck parked on a path inside a garden. The green field was beautifully blended using Distress Oxide Ink Mowed Lawn. The cute little girl was from the Rabbit Café stamp set.

She also added some boarder details to her card by using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays! She then used alphabet die cuts from Lawn Fawn to spell out COFFEE onto her card.

I love how she added even more details on these giant letters by stamping out the coffee beans image from There’s No One Like You stamp set! Such a clever idea!

Thanks Anja for your wonderful scene!

Anja’s Sun-Kissed Beach Scene Creation

Hi crafty friends! Anja is back today sharing a just because card full of summer vibe! Her card features The Sweetest Truck stamp set & its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts; and the Summer Sunshine stamp set & its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

She created the background by die cutting an A2 sized panel with the large die from Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlay and ink blending it using Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink for the beach, and Mermaid Lagoon to portray the ocean.

She used the little girl server image and the truck from The Sweetest Truck stamp set, combining them with the the girl in swimsuit along with several other cute images from the Summer Sunshine stamp set.

I love how she splattered water onto the ink blended card while adding dabs of white acrylic paint with a bristle brush. This technique really mimics the waves hitting the shoreline!

The extra beverage and the watermelon slices on top of the truck are just too cute! White gel pen details and glossy accents were added for some final touches!

Thank you so much Anja for this summery inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Awesome Sushi Food Truck by Davina!

Hi guys! I’m so excited to show you Davina’s awesome creation for today! She made a cute sushi food truck scene using several products from our recent release!

I love how she did some magical masking on the ice cream truck from The Sweetest Truck stamp set. Then she stamped sushis on the truck instead. How cool is that!

I love the big kimbap advertising sitting on top of the truck! Her images were colored with Copics and die cut using the coordinating cuts.

I really like the bright red truck backed by the night sky and grassy setting. It is so much fun!

She used the Dots Meet Dashes Rectangle Overlays on the card panels for the boarder details. I love that she inked up the edges of her colored cardstock for the added texture and depth. She finished her card with some big letter die cuts and a couple more cute images as decoration. Check out more detail on this card over on Davina’s blog!

Thank you Davina for this incredible creation! Looking at this makes me hungry!

Jo’s Awesome Ice Cream Truck Scene!

Jo joins us today with a gorgeous card with lots of awesome details! You can watch her step-by-step video over on our YouTube Channel!

Jo blended a super dreamy sky with her own cloudy stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. She created a park scene where the ice-cream truck was parked against the sidewalk and a beautiful piece of lawn. All of her images from The Sweetest Truck stamp set were colored using Copic Markers and die cut using their coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I love her choices of sharp and vibrant colors!

She used may of the dessert images from the set and I just love how each of the character is holding on to their favourite treats! She also used Copics to sketch out the sidewalk and the grassy details which looks fantastic!

She finished off her card with one of the sentiments from the set, “wishing you truck loads of…” while stamping out “ICE CREAM, SWEETS, and DONUTS” together with a bunch of music notes as if music was coming from the truck!

Thank you so much or sharing this beautiful card with us today, Jo! It’s totally awesome and it just reminds me that Spring is here!
