A Delightful Summer Scene Card with Davina!

Hey everyone! Davina is back to share with us a super delightful summer scene card!

Davina combined cool images from the Summer Sunshine stamp set and The More We Get Together stamp set to create this unique and incredible scene!

She stamped a bunch of images from both sets and colored them up using bright summery colors. I love how the cool kitty is suntanning on the beach and at the same time, having all the cute creatures swimming in the ocean!

She used the largest die from the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlays on her back panel for the wonderful boarder detail. She cut the stitched layers from several panels of Bristol smooth cardstock, and inked them up using Distress Oxide Inks.

I just love the splash of water and the watery inks on the cards for the added texture.

She used the sentiment, “Seas the Day” from the Summer Sunshine stamp set on the sand layer then adhered all of the pieces together.

Thank you so much Davina for this lovely scene. It is so vibrant and lively!  I really love how she composed her card into a split level scene where you can see both the beach and the underwater!

Thank for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

An Underwater Scene Shaker Card with Jo!

Hi everybody! Thanks for stopping by our blog! Today, we have Jo sharing her gorgeous shaker card with us!

Jo mixed the different sizes dies from the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays and the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays to create the boarder detail on her base panel and the two smaller frames.

She added acetate to the two smaller frames to create the shaker windows. The adorable underwater creatures were from The More We Get Together stamp set. The pair of cuttle fishies formed the main focal point and the sentiment “Wanna Cuttle?” is just the perfect match!

She also used a tiny bubble image from the Hot Mama stamp set for some extra detail on the seaweeds. I just love this bright and vibrant card! Check out her video tutorial below or over on our YouTube Channel.

Thank you so much Jo for your wonderful inspiration!

Ashley’s Interactive Slider Card!

Hi everyone! Ashley joins us today with a cute interactive slider card featuring products from our latest release! You can check out her step-by-step video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!

She used Distress Oxide Inks for the background blending on the main panel. Antique Linen and Vintage Photo were blended for the sand; Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass were blended for the water. She used a homemade stencil (vellum cut with a wavy border die on the top and bottom) to create the seabed and for masking purposes during blending.

I love the splatter of liquid shimmer and white paint for the added texture. Images from the The More We Get Together stamp set were stamped in black ink and coloured with Copic markers and die cut using their coordinating dies. I really love that she added a wavy slider channel into the card panel for the kitty-blow fish to swim across the ocean!

I love how the little fishy is peeking out from the coral reefs! She also used he Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays and Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangle Overlays stand-alone die cuts for some nice boarder details.

Lastly, a few circular sequins were added for just the right amount of extra sparkle!

Thanks so much Ashley for your lovely card! It is so so cute!

A Super Fun Interactive Card with Guest Designer Laura Dovalo!

Hi Guys! We are super excited today as we have an impressive interactive card to share by our Guest Designer, Laura Dovalo!

Here’s a quick view of Laura’s card in action:

Laura made a beautiful underwater scene using the images from The More We Get Together stamp set. All of the images were colored using Copic Markers.

While masking-off her colored images on the card, her background was beautifully ink blended using Chipped Sapphire, Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. She splattered water over the panel to create some nice texture.

Laura made her own pull tab and rotating mechanism, so that the blow fish would move up and down, while the seal’s arm would lift up at the same time with its thumbs up! Such a clever design!!

See how she put together this interactive card in detail by watching her video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!

Thank you so much Laura for your out of the world inspiration! Double thumbs up!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
