Slimline Picnic Scene with Anja!

Hi guys! Wish you all had a very Happy Canada Day yesterday. Today we have Anja sharing another slimline card with us!

This slimline is telling a story and I love it! Anja combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Never Give Up, My BFF, Summer Sunshine and the Bee Happy stamp sets!

She die cut 3 stitched slimline panels to create the sky and the grassy hills scene. I love the Distress Oxide ink blending on the background. She used Tumbled Glass for the sky, and Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters for the grassy hills.

I love the smiley trees which are built using the images from My BFF stamp set, the bunnies, flowers, butterflies and the kitty in the trolley are also from the same set.

The other characters are a mixture of images from Summer Sunshine, Sweetest Truck and the Bee Happy stamp sets. All of the images were colored using Copics and aren’t they lovely!!

I love that she added some cute refreshments on the table (those adorable sushis are from Never Give Up stamp set) to make the scene even more interesting! Looks like this bunch is having a great party!

She assembled her card using both liquid glue and foam tape to create a bit of dimension to the card.

Thank you Anja! This scene is so full of fun!

Anja’s Sun-Kissed Beach Scene Creation

Hi crafty friends! Anja is back today sharing a just because card full of summer vibe! Her card features The Sweetest Truck stamp set & its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts; and the Summer Sunshine stamp set & its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

She created the background by die cutting an A2 sized panel with the large die from Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlay and ink blending it using Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink for the beach, and Mermaid Lagoon to portray the ocean.

She used the little girl server image and the truck from The Sweetest Truck stamp set, combining them with the the girl in swimsuit along with several other cute images from the Summer Sunshine stamp set.

I love how she splattered water onto the ink blended card while adding dabs of white acrylic paint with a bristle brush. This technique really mimics the waves hitting the shoreline!

The extra beverage and the watermelon slices on top of the truck are just too cute! White gel pen details and glossy accents were added for some final touches!

Thank you so much Anja for this summery inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Lynnea’s Quick & Easy Summer Sunshine Tutorial

Hi guys! Lynnea’s up on our YouTube channel with a quick and easy tutorial today featuring our Summer Sunshine stamp set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts!

She used a stitched cover die to die cut watercolor cardstock to create the four “scene” rectangles. She then added Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Tumbled Glass, and Twisted Citron inks to them. The added water spritz gives it some nice extra texture.

I also love the black bold sentiment banner on white card stock positioned right in the middle of the card, which just fits flawlessly here to the four scenes!

Check out her process tutorial below or visit our channel!

Thank you so much Lynnea! We always love a fun card!

Thank you so much for visiting, enjoy your weekend everybody!

Summery Card with Lynnea!

Hello and happy 4th July to our crafty friends! I’d like to share a card created by Lynnea today which is full of summery vibe! We are so excited that Lynnea has been uploading her amazing video tutorials onto our YouTube channel in the last couple weeks!

For today’s card, Lynnea used images from our Summer Sunshine stamp set, along with some alcohol markers, distress inks, and heat embossed masking technique!

The small watermelon image she chose for the background is just super fun! I love the clever idea of using Versamarker, with clear embossing powder to mask off the bunch of tiny images and then directly blending the whole background with the warm colors distress oxide inks!

Love the black ink splatter which mimics watermelon seeds for added texture! The sentiment “SWEET” was from our Rabbit Café stamp set.

Please check out her video tutorial below or click here to watch it on our YouTube channel.

Also head over to Lynnea’s blog for more details on the card, and be sure not to miss Lynnea’s other awesome tutorials featuring our summer releases on our YouTube channel! I’m sure you will be inspired!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

I love how she added the two clear hearts which kinda mimics a little splash of water!
