A Super Cute Pop-Up Surprise Interactive Card by Stephanie!

Hi everyone! We are super excited to announce that our Spring 2021 New Releases are NOW officially in the shop!! WOOHOO!! Don’t forget to grab our FREE GIFT while supplies last!

Today we have Stephanie here to share her new card featuring the Twist-N-Pop Surprise die.

She combined this fun die with the use of super adorable images from the Mysterious Egypt stamp set! For the pop-up element in the centre, she blended the back panels of the polaroid with Distress oxide inks in Fossilized Amber and Dark Espresso.

I love the two mini scenes she created in these polaroid frames! She also added a few images on the base of the card to add even more interest to her card!

To finish off, she split the long sentiment from the Mysterious Egypt stamp set onto the two sentiment tabs, one of each side. What a great way to bring the two scenes of the card together!

This new Twist-N-Pop Surprise card is super easy to put together, if you haven’t watched my intro video, be sure to head over to our YouTube channel to watch it!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful card with us today Stephanie! This fun card is sure to put a smile on someone’s face!

Ashley’s Awesome Egyptian Themed Slimline Pull Tab Card!

Hello crafty friends! I hope you all enjoyed our Reveal and Inspiration Chapter on the new Spring 2021 Release. All new products will be official in our shop TOMORROW!! Yay!!

Ashley’s back to share an awesome interactive slimline card with us! And this scene is just so much fun!

She used our Desert Landscape die and stencil set to make this gorgeous background, with lots of ink blending to make it look like a desert scene. I just love the 3-dimensional look!

Images from the Mysterious Egypt stamp set were coloured with Copic markers and cut with the coordinating dies.

I really love her idea of using the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die to make the mummy pop out of the coffin when the pull tab is pulled, super cute!

A sentiment from the stamp set was stamped in navy blue ink and adhered on a strip to the card, which matches the navy blue back panel that she made using the Navy Blazer – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock from the newest Spectrum Collection.

Thank you Ashley! Your card is super fun and inspiring!

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a magnificent day!

Today we have 4 new stencils to introduce to you for the Stencils 360°TM tool! A lot of you have been telling me that you’ve been enjoying this new tool which is so exciting for me! To be able to create something that is revolutionary for the crafting community is so full of joy and your comments mean the world to me, and I am grateful for your support!

Our first showcase today is the Rainbows & Butterflies Stencils 360°TM. This stencil is 8″ in diameter and its design is so full of Spring vibes and positive energy!

Ashley used a series of brightly-coloured Distress Oxide inks to blend this card. The Rainbows & Butterflies Stencils 360°TM was turned at 60 degree intervals and blending brushes were used to apply each ink colour. I love how she added a purple stitched hexagon cut out from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes coordinating dies and also a scalloped circle from the same set using holographic cardstock. The sentiment was from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set. Loving the rainbow-coloured gems as the final touches!

Next we have the Kaleidoscope Stencils 360°TM. This stencil is so versatile as you can create multiple looks with just one stencil!

Candice made a duo of cards with similar configuration. On both cards, she kept to a turning interval of 60 degrees. I love how she used Candied Apple Distress Ink towards the center of the stencil and switched to carved pumpkin towards the outside to get that ombre look! The cute volcano and sentiment are from the Aloha Hawaii stamp set.

For her second card, she blended from the center, worked her way towards the edges using mermaid lagoon, salty ocean, and tumbled glass Distress inks. The adorable elephant and sentiment are from the Beautiful Africa stamp set.

For my card above, I used only half of the stencil design, isolating the other half; while changing the turning interval to 30 degrees instead of using the design-recommended 60 degrees! This creates a totally different design! Watch my step-by-step video or over on our YouTube channel.

Next we have the Hearts Bouquet Stencils 360°TM. As you can see, this stencil design has two parts to it. An array of floating hearts in different sizes, and a clean outlined heart. You can use them together, or separately, to achieve very different looks! Not to mention the endless possibilities that you get when varying the angle of rotations, or mixing it with other stencil designs!

Candice created her design with the idea of a mini postcard from the “City of Love” (Paris)! How romantic! She chose a 15 degree turning interval (jumping from Square to Square) using Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. To emphasis the “City of Love”, she trimmed down a piece of cardstock that she cut from the Sidewalk Scene Builder die and framed it with the polaroid die from the Twist-N-Pop Surprise set!

For my card above, I only inked the outlined heart portion of the stencil. You can see clearly this is such a different look to Stephanie’s card. I chose a rainbow hue palette and a 15 degrees turning interval to ink my stencil. Click HERE for a fun time lapse clip!

Finally we have the Spring Blooms Stencils 360°TM. This stencil creates a gorgeous floral background full of roses!

Allison made a pair of stunning floral backgrounds using this Spring Blooms Stencils 360°TM. For the card below, she used a 6 x 6″ canvas using the recommended turning interval of 60 degrees. I love how she cut the canvas in half to make a mini slimline card! To finish off, she also used the stencil in freestyle to fill in with more leaves and dots. The scripty stamp was from the stamp set Congratulations.

For her second card, Allison went about a little different. She first cut out a piece of cardstock with the rectangular die from the Cinematic Shadow Box die set. I love the gorgeous shade of pink! She then placed that panel on the left half of what would normally be a full sheet of 6×6″ paper. She then explored and played with the rotations of the big roses and leaves to fill her card! She also handpicked a few of the elements and added them in! I am loving all the clear and gold heat embossing on this card! The sentiments are from the stamp set Congratulations.

Our final inspiration for today is from Gladys!  I really love the pastel palette she went for on this card! She wanted her card to have more of the big roses, so instead of following the suggested angle of rotation 60 degrees, she went with 30 degrees! The sentiments are from the Bond with Nature Canada and Enchanting Paris.

That concludes our inspirations for today! If you haven’t done so, head over to our Day 1 Post and participate in our GIVEAWAYS!  You have until 11:59pm PST TONIGHT to enter.  Don’t miss out your last chance! Winners will be announced on our Blog and on Instagram tomorrow 27 Mar!

Reveal & Inspiration Chapter Spring 2021 Day 4

Spring 2021 New Release – Reveal & Inspirational Chapter – Day 4

Spring 2021 New Release Schedule

Hello and welcome back to Day 4 of our Reveal & Inspirational Chapter. Our new Spring Release can now be Pre-Ordered at www.ppstamps.com! YAYYY!!!!! Grab the FREE GIFT with purchase of 80CAD+/65USD+! This key chain is super adorable and features one of our favourite characters from the Rabbit Café stamp set! So take advantage of this awesome deal while supplies last!

Please continue to visit our blog for the rest of the week for some fun and awesome projects from our talented Creative Team and myself. Today we have 2 more stand-alone die to showcase so let’s get to it! If you missed our Day 1 Intro + Giveaway, click HERE so you don’t miss out!

Today’s first showcase is the Cinematic Shadow Box stand-alone dies. Unlike other smaller shadow boxes you’ve seen, this die set allows you to create a much wider box to house even more adorable characters for the perfect scene!  With the background panel plus 4 nos. of insert tabs, you can have as many as 5 layers in your shadow box with the 2″ depth! How awesome is that?!

Check out this amazing scene Ashley created with this Cinematic Shadow Box! Her background was ink blended beautifully using Distress Oxide inks in Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber with a touch of gold splatter. She placed her adorable images from the Beautiful Africa stamp set on the four insert tabs. She stamped out a sweet sentiment from the set onto the front decorative panel. This card is super fun and vibrant!

Stephanie designed this card with the idea of a Luau in mind. I love how she added the wavy slopes (die cut from the Desert Landscape Scene Builder dies) to the insert tabs. She also used the Mountain Landscape Scene Builder die to add the mountains silhouette on her back panel! The cute images from Aloha Hawaii stamp set were arranged on the different levels of the Cinematic Shadow Box. What an awesome scene!

Candice used images from the Beautiful Africa stamp set for her shadow box. I love how she ink blended her two side panels and all of the 5 insert tabs with Distress Oxide Ink in Cracked Pistachio to achieve the green forest look! The blue sky was also beautifully blended. The punny sentiment “You Are Ele-Phantastic” finished off the card perfectly!

I made my shadow box using stamps from Bond With Nature Canada. The best thing about this card is that the completed shadow box folds flat to fit a slimline #9 or #10 envelope! Do you see the stitched rocky mountains at the back of the card? These were created using the Mountain Landscape Scene Builder Dies + Stencil set! This new 2 in 1 set gives the perfect way for creating beautiful landscapes.

As promised, please click HERE to watch the step by step video on our YouTube Channel!

The next product we’d like to showcase today is the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab stand-alone dies! This set has four different lengths of slit die cuts you can choose from to cut out tracks to form the moving mechanism. This set also includes two slimline rectangle stackables with neat and simple dotted borders that is ideal for all different types of greeting cards!

Allison made an incredible scene using the images from Beautiful Africa. She colored all images with Copics. I love how she altered the images of the jeep and the little girl, combined them with the pull tab mechanism to make it look like she was cruising in the jeep – how clever! I also like how she layered the trees for the added dimension. To finish off she added a super sweet sentiment “I love you, no lion”!

Gladys’s card is super adorable. I love how she arranged her pull tab to make the lion (from Beautiful Africa) appear from behind the bush! It sure will put a smile on the recipient’s face! I also adore the soft-tone she adopted, which adds a special warm vibe to this safari scene!

If you’ve been following since our Sneak Peeks, you would have seen my card above. I created a desert scene with images from Beautiful Africa. The three dimensional sand dunes were created using the Desert Landscape Scene Builder Dies & Stencil Set. This new set gives you the tools for making beautiful and unique landscapes, especially on slimline cards. I adhered the camel to my pull tab to make it stroll along the desert! If you haven’t yet watch my step by step tutorial on this Pull Tab die set, please click HERE to watch it over on our YouTube Channel!

That concludes our inspirations for today! If you haven’t done so, please head over to our Day 1 Post for a chance to win our GIVEAWAYS! You only have until tomorrow 26 Mar 11:59pm PST to enter! We really hope you will play along with us! Winners will be announced on our Blog and on Instagram on 27 Mar!

I truly hope you’ve enjoyed today’s showcase of Cinematic Shadow Box and Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab stand-alone dies.
