Bubble Bath Digital Stamp Cricut Joy Extra Print then Cut

The Final Inspiration of the Year 2023!

Hello friends! As we wrap up this amazing year, I’d like to thank all of you for your support and your love for Penguin Palace!

I know we haven’t had too many releases launched in the past year however I am grateful that we have our wonderful and loyal customers who love our products! This year we were a part of two very successful card making summits and we also launched our collection of Digital Stamps! As our last inspiration for the year, I’d like to share with you a card I made featuring one of the Digi stamps in the shop, Bubble Bath!

Last month I also took the plunge and bought my very first Cricut machine, the Cricut Joy Xtra which I’m really excited about! Today I am sharing a video which shows you every step that I took from unboxing my new Cricut Joy Xtra to setting up the machine, calibration, and trying out the print then cut function on some digital stamps! It includes MUST-SEE TIPS, and MISTAKES that I made as a complete newbie to a cricut machine!

I just love this adorable little puppy!! For my background I use the Cyber Wallpaper stencil and ink blended with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide. I also added a 1/4″ border using a holographic cardstock panel.

Check out my video below or head over to our Youtube Channel to watch! Please leave me a comment as I’d love to learn more about this new machine!

Finally I want to wish all of you a Happy, Healthy and Properous NEW YEAR!

A Clean and Simple card with Candice!

Hi everyone! Our Fall/Winter 2021 New Release is just around the corner and I cannot wait to show you what we have to offer!

Candice created this gorgeous card inspired by our current Challenge happening over on our Challenge Blog: Clean and Simple!

She created a cute little scene by stamping the sweet little girl, puppy, and cheese from the Enchanting Paris stamp set and covering each with a mask.

Then she stamped the bench so it would appear in the background – love this idea! The she did some really pretty Copic-colouring on these adorable images!

Finally she added the fun sentiment and some gems to finish off the card!

Thank you Candice for sharing this beautiful creation! I love a sweet simple one layer card!

Super Delightful Scenes With Jo and Ashley

Hi guys, hope you had a great weekend. I have on our blog today, from designers Jo and Ashley, cards which features our Fun Night Out stamp set and our new tool Stencils 360°TM.

First we have Jo’s card. I love how she used the Orbit Stencils 360°TM and blended at a turning interval of 45°, to create this fun background which resonates so well with the disco ball image from the Fun Night Out stamp set – super brilliant!

She created this fun scene with these adorable puppies from Fun Night Out. I love the little addition of the microphone from the Penguin Agenda stamp set, looks like these cuties are having a wonderful karaoke night!

You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch it on our YouTube Channel.

Next we have Ashley’s awesome card. Combining the Stencils 360°TM tool along with the Magical Fireworks custom stencils, Ashley blended a number of Distress Oxide colors on black cardstock for this unique look.

I really love the composition of this card. The fireworks background really gives a nice focal point on the DJ kitty!

The sentiment “I Gin-uinely care for you” is a fun touch to this card. Both the top panel and the base were cut using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlay Stand Alone Die which gives these lovely border details.

She added a bunch of the accessory images along with some colorful gems to finish off. I just love the cool vibe of this card!

Thank you so much Jo and Ashley for sharing these delightful cards and videos with us!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

A Happy Disco Dancing Scene with Anja!

Hi friends! Today Anja has in store for us a beautiful and clever scene, created from the Home Sweet Home stand-alone die, and the Fun Night Out stamps  and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

She stamped out all of her images and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. Always love a little white gel pen accent!

She used the Cross Stitched and Dots Small Rectangle Overlay stand alone dies to cut out the frame for this card. I love how she used the Home Sweet Home stand alone die to create a scene of inside a pub – how clever!

I love the night sky blended using Chipped Saphire Distress Oxide Ink with the touch of gold splatter ink mimicking a starry night! For the wallpaper inside the pub she chose Victorian Velvet over the Cyber Wallpaper stencil. She then used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for blending the floor.

To finish, she stamped out the sentiment “Let’s Wiggle and Giggle All Night” with VersaMark ink and white heat embossed it on dark blue cardstock.

The critters were adhered to the card with foam tape for the added dimension.

Thank you so much Anja! This card is so clever and lovely!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Fun Adventure Slimline Scene with Davina!

Hi Guy! Davina is back to share a super brilliant slimline card featuring our Fun Adventure stamp set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I love how she colored the cute images from the set to blend in with the color of the background she chose. The little white gel pen details highlight the images so beautifully.

Some of the images were cut with fun foam for added dimension.

I love how she placed a cluster of images on both sides with the big letter die-cuts in the middle portion. The composition of this card is just cleverly thought out.

For a bit of sparkle, she added small tone matching sequins to finish off her card.

Thank you so much Davina for your awesome inspiration!

Have a wonderful day!
