Spring/Summer 2022 New Release – Reveal Week – Day 3

Hello and welcome back to Day 3 of Reveal Week! Our new Spring/Summer Release can now be Pre-Ordered at www.ppstamps.com! If you missed our Day 1 Reveal & Giveaway, please click HERE!

Over the next two days, we will be showcasing some of our newest circular stencils from the Stencils 360° collection! So for those who are fans of this innovative tool, stay with us! If you haven’t heard of this tool yet, don’t miss out as you will be amazed by what it can do!

Today we are focusing on a brand new 6″ x 8″ stamp set Modern Deluxe Alphabets, along with its Coordinating Stencil Templates. With the edged guidelines around the little windows on these stencils, you can easily pop in and align the individual stamps from the Modern Deluxe Alphabets to create the coolest letters background! Let me show you what I mean with some samples below!

I made a trio of cards for today. I combined the Modern Deluxe Alphabet stamp set with a different Template for each of my card.

For my first card I taped my A2 size card to the back of Template 2 (lining it up with the edged corner guides on the stencil). Then I put them into my MISTI tool and start positioning my letter stamps. The edged guidelines around the windows can easily help with getting the perfect alignment!

I stamped out the word LOVE using Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear heat embossed them. Then I used Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides on my stencil template to add some shades behind the letters. I then used the Rain of Hearts stencil gradually blending lighter towards the centre of my card.

Finally I finished it with some gems for the extra sparkles!

For my next card I used this stamp set with Template 1 in which there are twelve square cut-outs.

I knew I wanted black letters against a clean white background for the biggest contrast so I stamped out the letters again with Versafine Onyx Black ink and left the background white. I trimmed off the edges and popped it onto kraft cardstock and added some really cool sparkly star shaped embellishments! And by the way, you will find this cool embellishment on our website along with tons of other gorgeous new ones real soon ^.^!

For my last card, I used Template 3 where there are six square cut-outs.

Since there are only six letters on this card, I wanted a bold background to accompany my THANKU design. I used Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist ink along with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide on our new The Rose Close-Up stencil. I trimmed the sides and pop my card onto a matching color Vintage Beetle cardstock.

I added some beautiful clear hearts embellishment (coming soon to our shop) to finish off the card. I thought they mimic dew drops with an elegant twist!

There you have my inspirations for today! If you haven’t done so, head over to our Day 1 post and participate in our BLOG + IG GIVEAWAYS! You have until May 8, 9:00pm PST to enter. We really hope you will play along with us! Winners will be announced on our Blog and on Instagram on May 9.

Here’s the project I made for today:

I thought what better stamp set to use to celebrate National Coffee Day than with Rabbit Café!

First I created this fun geometric background using one of our soon-to-be-released 360° circular stencils to create a focal point on front panel which measures 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. This stencil is very versatile as it allows you to create different configurations of geometric backgrounds by using different degree of turns on our Stencils 360°™  . Consider this a little sneak peek (stay tuned for more)!

I blended with two gorgeous Catherine Pooler ink colors, Sauna and Green Tea on the stencil. I then added the Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Spray for some extra glow!

Using the coordinating dies to the Rabbit Café stamp set, I die cut a window on my panel so that the little girl with the coffee cup will show through from the inside. I white heat embossed the sentiment “Brew-tiful Day” onto Teal Sapphire cardstock and adhered that onto my card. To make my note card, I used the Sunkissed cardstock (these two are both new colors and are part of our upcoming release), cut out a 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″ piece and scored at 4 3/4″.

For the inside I adhered a panel measuring 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ onto my note card. Before I stamp the little girl, I made sure to position it precisely behind the cut-out window on the front.

I also added “Stay Sweet” & “Coffee Lover”, and a tiny donut from the My Sweetest Truck stamp set, which I thought coordinates with the Coffee theme perfectly! Finally I added gems to the front for some extra sparkle.

Spring 2021 Sneak Peek - Day 5

Spring 2021 New Release – Sneak Peek Day 5

Spring 2021 New Release Schedule

Hi crafty friends! It’s already Day 5 of Sneak Peeks! I love geometric patterns. For today, I made a clean and simple card with a rainbow hue geometric background.

To make this stenciled background, I used the new Hearts Bouquet Stencil 360°TM with our Stencils 360°TM tool. You’ll be amazed on how easy it is to create this overlay of hearts in rainbow hues! While inking, I made references to the “15° intervals” scale on the Base of the tool, basically jumping from Square to Square!

I had a total of 8 colors that I wanted to used and these colors repeat themselves twice in this pattern. To avoid having to clean my stencil on every 15° turn before changing ink color, I inked up all 3 of the same colored hearts, clean my stencil, and moved on to my next color.

To give some border detail to the card, I used the largest dies from Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays and the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays to cut out a frame with our new Pumpkin Field cardstock. Then I added an image and sentiment from our new stamp set, Aloha Hawaii. I thought this image really goes well with the burst of colors in the background!

Here’s a short video on how I made this card. You can watch it below or over on our YouTube Channel.

This card is super fun and easy to make, I hope you’ll try it out! Be sure to come back tomorrow for our Sneak Peeks wrap up! Reveal & Inspiration Chapter + Giveaways starts next Monday. And get ready to Pre-Order period which starts next Monday as well! Stay tuned for the reveal of the Free Gift with purchases 80CAD+ (or ~65USD+)!

Happy crafting everyone!

Create a Modern Look for Your Thank You Cards – with Bobbi!

Hi everyone, today Bobbi is back to share a duo of cards that are just simply amazing! She used eye-catching color combinations that give a modern and chic look!

On this first card, she used the hexagon die from the the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes die set in the colors of gold, pink, a muted aqua and black. This color combination is so special and I love all the contrasts that they give!

She die cut all the stitched hexagons and adhered them to an A7 card base. I love the stitched detailing on these hexagons!

Inside the card, she used the Orbit Stencils 360°TM  to create the interior panel. I just love how the colors coordinate with those at the front! She left some space in the middle where a note of thanks can be written across.

To complete this look, she stamped and cut the “Forever Grateful” sentiment from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set and attached it using a piece of narrow foam tape for the added dimension. I just love the elegant look on this card!

Her second card also measures 5″ X 7″, but this one has a more masculine feel due to the color choices. She used the stitched square die from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes die set with a mixture of rust, earthy blue, a warm gray, a light aqua cardstock. I love that she added a light warm gray splattered with black watercolor.

I also love the white heat embossed sentiment on the darker color square in the lower centre which really pops! This sentiment “I’m Beyond Grateful” is from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set.

Inside the card, she used the Magical Fireworks Stencils 360°TM to create a coordinating look using the colors from the front. I love the clean and simple look of this!

This card would be an ideal gift for anyone! The sharp colors, stitched details and the bold and modern look are what make this card looking spectacular!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspirations. Thanks for stopping by!

Some of the dies can be mix and matched for different images in the sets, as you can see from the images below.

Words From The Heart (Chapter 1) 6″x8″ Clear Stamp Set
Words From The Heart (Chapter 2) 6″x8″ Clear Stamp Set

The other 2 stamp sets Words From The Heart (Chapters 1 & 2) also shares a set of coordinating dies, as shown below. Read on to see how some of these images and dies were used in our projects!

Words From The Heart (Chapters 1 & 2) – Coordinating Dies

Here’s an example Bobbi made featuring one of the image from Heartfelt Notes. She used both Barrels from the Hello Sunshine Stencils 360°™ for this card.

I love the contrasting look between the outer ring of sunrays and the inner ring. These colors give a super warm and energetic vibes. I just love the bright and vibrant look.

The different sizes of die cut circles she used to decorate her card compliment the overall geometric pattern. Loving the white detailing she added.

One of the stencils that we want to showcase today is The Orbit Stencils 360°™. With this 8″ stencil, it is super easy to create 3-Dimensional graphics in minutes! You can easily mix and match sentiments and coordinating geometrical die cuts to achieve some interesting designs!

The Orbit Stencils 360°™

Since there is a “star” symbol as the alignment marker on this stencil, you can definitely try using different turning intervals for blending, in order to get different looks for your projects.

Let’s take a look at Anja’s card. She first cut an A2 panel using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die.

She used a combination of Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink on her stencil with a turning interval of 30°. The heat embossed sentiment is from Words From the Heart (Chapter 1). Loving the soft blue palette!

For my card below, I also used a turning interval of 30°. I chose 3 colors for my card namely Hickory Smoke, Twisted Citron, and Wilted Violet. As you may have noticed, I was going light-handed on this as I wanted to achieve a less opaque and more of a transparent look for my spheres.

I used the heart-shaped stamp from Heartfelt Notes and die cut it using the coordinating dies for both the Heartfelt Notes and Warmest Wishes. Then I used our The Sandstone Series – Smokey Eyes – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock as the card base, since I find that color goes very well with the Hickory Smoke ink.

For the next card, I combined Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. Unlike the above, I decreased the turning interval to 22.5°, making the pattern a little fuller with more layering.

I used a 1:1 format so that I can keep all of the graphics. The sentiment here is from Heartfelt Notes, and I die cut it using the hexagon coordinating die and adhered that with foam tape onto my blended card.

Finally, the last product to showcase in this release is the Botanical Garden Stencils 360°™.

Botanical Garden Stencils 360°™

Jo made a Thanksgiving card that is full of autumn vibes. As you can see, the alignment marker on this stencil is a ‘pair’ of circles. Therefore in order to achieve the stencil’s intended design, you will need to rotate the stencil using a turning interval of 60° (as compared to a ‘single’ circle which represents a 30° interval).

I love the Fall tone that she created here. She chose “Happy Thanksgiving” from Warmest Wishes, and die cut it using the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes – Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I love embellishments that she added, so beautiful.

For my final card, I chose a smaller canvas, namely a 4 3/4” x 4 3/4” cardstock. In the past, blending multi-colors on a stencil design like this would require lots and lots of masking, but not anymore! Our Stencils 360°™ makes this colorful floral pattern super easy to create.

The image here in the centre is from Heartfelt Notes, I stamped the image using Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide.

And that concludes our Fall 2020 Reveal and Inspiration Chapter!! I hope you had fun as much as we did. My goal for this release is to bring to the crafting community something unique and different. I really hope we’ve done that. If you like what you see, please help spread the word!
