A Surprise Interactive Birthday Card by Eileen

Hello friends! Are you planning a little surprise for a friend or a family member’s birthday? I may have just the perfect inspiration for you!

Milk, tea, or me?  This darling critter will surely put a smile on your loved one’s face!

Eileen was inspired by the ‘Surprise’ sentiment in this adorable digital stamp set and therefore created this card with a push-pull interative element! As you pull on the heart, the little critter brings up this ‘hip hip hooray’ banner – super cute!

She chose a wood-grained texture background to go with this cute farm animal. I really love how she brushed a thin layer of white to soften the look.

To finish off, she added a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment on the inside. The kraft cardstock also compliments the overall color tone of the card.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Thank you so much Eileen for sharing this awesome interactive card with us!

This adorable fairy is from our latest Garden Fairy digital stamp.

Mimi used our Woodland Scene Builder Layered dies to create this enchanted background. I love the shadow and highlights she added to create the dimension with these layered die-cuts.

Love the sparkle she added to the fairy’s wings and on the background as final touches! Thank you Mimi, your card is so magical!
