Most Wonderful Time Stamps & Coordinating Dies, Outdoor Ice Rink Scene Builder Dies + Stencil Set

This sure is a lovely addition to your wintry collection!  Send warm wishes to your coolest friends with the adorable characters from this stamp set!  Pair this set with our new Outdoor Ice Rink Scene Builder Dies + Stencil set to create the most unique and exciting wintry scenes!

First we have Candice’s amazing creation!

I just love the starry night sky background, it looks so magical! I also love how she kept a cohesive color tone, from the background, to the cute characters and to her choice of glittery gems!

For my card below, I used all of the dies from Outdoor Ice Rink Scene Builder Dies + Stencil Set to die cut the building skyline (+shadow), the shrubs and the ice rink & lamp posts on various colored cardstocks.

I then used the coordinating stencil to add colors to the individual elements like the lamps, shrubs branches, and ice rink board. Fort the extra touch of details, this stencil even has a cut out just for inking the bottom trim to the ice rink board!

Poinsettia Stencils 360°

Create a multi-color wreath with this poinsettia circular stencil.  Great for a festive yet effortless background.  Pair it with a charming sentiment from Magical Christmas Sentiments to complete your project!

Check out this goregous creation by Candice!

Candice chose a traditional color palette for her card. I love the red and green combination which gives a very festive vibe!

The completed wreath measures approximately 5″ x 5″.

On the other hand, I did a card using a non-traditional christmas color palette. I used light yellow for my poinsettia with a touch of orange near the centers.

I gold heat embossed a sentiment from Magical Christmas Sentiment and added a back panel in shiny gold cardstock to match, leaving an 1/8″ narrow border. My finished card measures 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.

I hope you enjoyed today’s showcases and inspirations. Leave a comment below before you go and let me know what you think! And be sure to come back tomorrow for more Product Previews and Giveaways!

Holiday Greetings with Stefanie and Candice!

HI everyone! We hope you’ve had a wonderful BFCM! We have two wonderful inspirations to share with you! First we have Stefanie who brought us this gorgeous minimalist X’mas card!

Three stamp sets were used to create this super cool tree: Magical Christmas Sentiments, Fun Doodle Dividers, and the stars are from Minimalist Christmas Trees! I love the black on white which gives this card a very modern look! I also love the black watercolor splatter for the added interest!

The doodle dividers are used so cleverly in this design! I also love how she used kraft cardstock as the notecard which compliments her minimalist design really well!

Next we have Candice’s creation! Her card is inspired by our current Challenge which is happening over on our Challenge Blog! This month’s challenge theme is Holiday Cards!

I adore the watercolor galaxy background with the white paint splatter mimicking the stars!

To create the moon, she used one of the dies from the Mountain Landscape and Scene Builder. She stamped and Copic-colored a few of the images from the Let’s Meet IRL stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I love the Nellie’s Choice Snow Effect to make the Santa hats look fuzzy! What a cute finishing touch!

Thank you so much Stefanie and Candice for sharing your delightful creations!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to head to our Challenge Blog and upload YOUR holiday card for a chance to win a $25 Gift Card to our shop!

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Hello and welcome back to our blog! Today we are super excited to participate in Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event for the very first time! Be sure to visit Tracey’s blog In My Creative Opinion for wonderful Christmas tag inspiration from our Penguin Palace Creative Team!

Today I’ve created for you a pair of X’mas tags with products from our earlier releases.

I first die cut two tags with our Snow White – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock. It’s a bit hard to see from the photos but this unique cardstock has subtle watermarks in shapes of little raindrops.

Then I spread some Gina K Glitz Gel in Red Velvet and Turquoise Sea on the Crystal Snowflakes – Penguin Perfect Patterns 6″ stencil to give each of the tags the shimmery snowflakes.

All of the adorable images are from the Cuddly Sheep’s Season’s Greetings stamp set. These images were stamped in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, colored with Copics and die cut using the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Then I added two sentiments from the same stamp set. I stamped “Season’s Greetings” using Simon Hurley’s dye ink Remember Me, and “Happy Holidays” in Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink. I thought these colors went well with the backgrounds.

To complete the tags, I used some matching colors trimming and added some sparkly gems!

I hope you enjoy today’s little project.

Don’t forget to visit Tracey’s blog today for lots more beautiful tag inspiration! Thank you so much Tracey for another fun 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!
