Hi Crafty Friends! The Lunar New Year is approaching and today Vera is back to share with us her new creation!
Vera used the Home Sweet Home stand alone die and images from the Penguin Agenda for creating this festive card!
Vera used the Home Sweet Home Die on watercolor paper. I love how she die-cut the roof and the door in bright red cardstock which is a perfect fit for this Lunar New Year themed card! She ink-blended the house with Distress Oxide Inks and splatter with Gansai Tambi gold paint.
The cute penguins were stamped on Bristol paper and colored with Copic Markers and cut out with Penguin Agenda – Penguin Perfect Cuts.
She also added from her own collection some fun sentiments in Chinese: 新年快樂 – Happy New Year; 恭禧發財 – Congratulations and wishing you prosperity; and 福 – Goodluck!
