Fall/Winter 2019 New Release & Creativity Chapter – Day 6

Hello and welcome to Penguin Palace’s Fall/Winter 2019 New Release & Creativity Chapter – Day 6!  Our 4 new stamp sets, along with their coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts, and the 4 new Penguin Perfect Patterns – Designer Stencils are now available for sale at www.ppstamps.com! Today, we are going to showcase two other Penguin Perfect Patterns – Designer Stencils! And it is also your last chance to win some goodies, so please continue to read all the way to the bottom for a chance to win ^.^ ! Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented creative team!

First we want to showcase the Cyber Wall paper – Penguin Perfect Patterns! Ali has for us this apricot-toned square ratio card.

I love how she starts with the darker shade in the middle and have it fades out towards the edges. She then added simple bold die-cuts alphabets to spell out the word “SHAKE” and added the “IT OFF” sentiment from our Fun Night Out stamp set.

Ashley did a pastel toned rainbow card which I totally adore! She used the Cyber Wallpaper stencil and Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, and Mermaid Lagoon to blend her background.

I love how she blended each color on just 1/3 of the stencil and rotating the stencil 90 degrees for some overlapping blending with the next color. A big scripty word die cut goes so well with the background.

Lynnea masked off the Cyber Wall Paper stencil and just blended the bottom of her card and make space for the kitty DJ from our Fun Night Out stamps set.

She added the sentiment “LET’S WIGGLE AND GIGGLE ALL NIGHT” beside the image. I love the glitter spray she used together with the stencil.

Next we want to showcase our Crystal Snowflakes stencil.

Davina used Distress Oxide inks for her blended background, namely Picket Fence, Spun Sugar, and Worn Lipstick. The splatters of water, white ink and gold metallic ink really added extra dimension to the card.

I love her choice of glittery embossing paste as the medium on the Crystal Snowflakes stencil. One can create beautiful looking background in a short amount of time. She made a gorgeous scene using the café and the little girl from our Rabbit Café stamp set.

Vera made for us 3 lovely tags also with images our earlier release, Fun Adventure and Rabbit Café.

She chose water color as her colouring medium. Love how the snowflakes gave these lovely tags their cool background!

Anja made for us two charming X’mas cards that features our Cuddly Sheep’s Season’s Greetings stamp set.

On her ocean toned portrait format card, she blended Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks.

She did a landscape format on her second card. She ink blended Wilted Violet, Seedless pPreserves and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.

She splattered water, and applied Aleene’s True Snow paste over for both of her cards. It really gave a wonderful snowy feel to the cards!

We are extremely excited to announce that we have in stock a whole new line of Penguin Perfect Patterns – Designer Stencils! Today, we are going to showcase 2 of the 4! First we want to showcase the Vintage Basket – Penguin Perfect Patterns! Below we have Lynnea with her lovely creation. She blended her card using the Vintage Basket stencil with Distress Oxide inks as the medium.

I love how she used two different colors for the crosses and the squares. The color tone matches the pair of turtles perfectly! And she finished off the card with the coordinating sentiment “I WANNA RUN TO YOU”. Check out her video tutorial on our YouTube channel.

Ali made for us a set of three cards! This stencil has a uniquely vivid and strong design that you can just add scripty word die-cuts or sentiments to create gorgeous cards in no time!

I love the way Ali shifted the stencil to create multi-layers effect. She combined the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” sentiment from our It’s Your Day stamp set on two of her cards.

Ashley used the Vintage Basket stencil with Distress Oxide ink Crushed Pistachio. I love how she blended it from the outside edge towards the middle and fading the ink towards the centre.

She also realigned the stencil and did the blending again using Peacock Feathers. She combined the background with the cute dinosaur image from the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp set. Her card once again demonstrates that one could make beautiful cards just by adding simple elements such as one single image/sentiment to this patterned background.

Next we go onto the Rain of Hearts – Penguin Perfect Cuts! Anja die cut her background with white cardstock with the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlay Die and used the Rain of Hearts stencil and ink blended it with Distress Oxide ink, Antique Linen, Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick .

She stamped out the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” sentiment from the My Best Pal stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I love how she chose a very special embellishment to finish off her card, Irresistible Ice-cream Treats.  This is such a clever idea!

Davina made for us a lovely pastel shaker card using the new Rain of Hearts stencil with Distress Oxide inks. She die-cut her card base with the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlay Stand-alone die.

I love how the It’s Your Day – Stand-alone die added some the dimension to the background. She also added a fun images from our Fun Night Out stamp set, and some accessory images from the Take a Break stamp set. The confetti goes so well with the blended background!

Franci’s card is a clean and refreshing beauty! She die cut her card base out of white cardstock. I love her idea of having her blended Rain of Hearts background just in the middle of two overlaid strips of white cardstock, which really accented the frogs jumping over the hurdles!

Nice embellishments for some finishing touches!

Today we are showcasing our Lucky Break stamp set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts! This has got to be the very first teddy bear themed slot machine clear stamp out there!! Stamp out your favourite spinning symbols on the wheels and send good-luck vibes to your loved ones with these adorable images! This set is just so much fun!

Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented creative team!

First we have Vera and her charming creation. I’ve always loved her cards with the light and dreamy color tone. She chose water color as the medium this time. I really love how it looks.

The bold black sentiments really stand out from the background and the clear sequins add a nice finishing touch to the card!

Next we have Anja! She ink blended Mustard Seed and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink over white cardstock. I love the splatter of gold water color over the background!

I love how she added acetate to mimic the glass panels on the machine! I also love the gold heat-embossed letters “JACKPOT!!”.

Next we have Davina with her lovely bold and bright “raspberry lemonade” hued card!

I really love the vivid colours that she chose and the fun scene she’d created! From the blended background, the colourful images, choice of big scripty word, sentiments, the patterned paper, she executed this card to perfection! Love the white heat embossed sentiment that pops on the black cardstock, and all the white gel pen accents!

Next we have our Guest Designer, Megan’s card. Instead of using the slot machine image from the set, she chose the little foxy and the tiger playing in a card game!

I love the layering she has on this card. The different patterns/colors on the cardstock layers compliment nicely with colors she put on the stamped images.

Finally, below is a card I made. I thought why not have 3 slot machines all spilling out lucky coins at the same time! I used the Cross Stitched and Dots Large Rectangle Overlays – Stand-Alone Die on Splendorlux Argento – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock for my card base. On top of that I used The Sandstone Series – Precious Gem – Premium Fine Paper with the Cross Stitched and Dots Small Rectangle Overlays – Stand-Alone Dies. To give even more layering to the card, I die cut some jagged edged and zig/zag shapes from the Fancy Hearts Scalloped Boarders and Dynamite Explosion Boarders Set – Stand-Alone Die.

I chose some vibrant Copic markers on the slot machines to match the Sandstone Series fine papers. I stamped out all the different symbols on the spinning wheels and lined up the same ones across the middle line to mimic a JACKPOT on ALL of the slot machines! 🙂 I finished off the card with a silvery powder heat embossed sentiment “MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR”, and added some extra coins on foam tape to create some more dimension to the card! I hope you like it!

Today we are showcasing our Fun Night Out stamp set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts! I’m so thrilled that we now have a clubbing-themed stamp set! I’ve always wanted one ^.^! This set features a cool kitty deejaying in a club and has other super fun images that allows you to create the coolest and cutest clubbing scene ever!

Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented team!

First we have Ashley and her amazing creation! She coloured the cute pups with Copic markers. She blended the background using our new Cyber Wallpaper stencil with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks. This really goes so well together with the dance floor image.

She cleverly used some alphabets dies to spell out DANCE and combined it with the words “it off” from the set to complete the card. The sparkly details with clear Wink of Stella and Gelly Roll Stardust pens added some great finishing touches.

Next we have our Guest Designer Megan with her gorgeous card! I love how Megan’s card tells a story! She’s got it all in her scene… the cute puppies dancing, the kitty deejaying… the kitty waitress and all the accessory images all come together flawlessly!

I love the glitter medium she chose with the use of our Cyber Wallpaper stencil. I also love the colourful dance floor against the black floor background. The white heat embossed sentiment “LET’S WIGGLE AND GIGLLE ALL NIGHT” fits perfectly in this scene!

Next we have Lynnea’s creation! She also chose the cute pups as the main character for her card. I love how she stamped out “SHAKE” and the music notes multiple times.

She even used some action wobblers for the pups and they really do shake ~shake~ shake~! So cute!

Finally we have Ali’s card! She used the kitty DJ as the focal point of her card. I love how she used speech bubbles for the sentiments “SHAKE IT OFF”, coming from the cool looking kitty.

She chose a silvery glitter medium on the Cyber Wallpaper stencil, to match with the silver cardstock that goes on the bottom. It really gives a flashy vibe to the card!

Today we are showcasing our Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp set and its coordinating dies Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) – Penguin Perfect Cuts! As per Happy Track and Field (Chapter 1), this set is great for encouragement cards or thinking of you cards. It has some cool images that are just one of kind! You’ve got adorable critters including a polar bear competing in the pole vault event, a lobster, a rabbit and a dinosaur who are ready to step onto a medal acceptance podium to receive their medals! How cute is that! Add on the energetic cheerleaders, fun accessory images and uplifting sentiments to create the most cheerful cards! Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented team!

First we have Davina with her fun scene! I love the placement of the little cheerleaders and the way they are holding the banner sentiment. The grassy background compliments so well the medal acceptance podium.

I love the splatter of metallic gold and white ink on the textured paper and the white gel pen highlights!

Next we have Anja and her creation. I love the Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink blended background, it is so gorgeous!

I love how she made the card into two portions. She laid out the scene of the cheerleaders cheering on the polar bear across the top portion of the panel, while she placed her black bold sentiment “I’LL ALWAYS BE YOUR CHEERLEAD” and the cute little rabbit against the clean white background on the bottom. This creates a really nice contrast.

Finally we have Franci with her beautiful card. She ink blended her background using one of our new Penguin Perfect Patterns – Designer Stencils – Vintage Basket which we will showcase later this week.

I love how she made the lobster holds the trophy in its claw! So cute! The dinosaur and the rabbit gazing at the lobster, they all look so happy in this wonderful set up, and the sentiment “YOU ARE MY LOB-STAR” really compliments the whole scene!
