Hello friends! Hope you’re having a great day so far!
Even as the creator of Stencils 360°™, it still amazes me every single time, how a simple stencil can create so many different patterns with just a few turns. Today I have a short ASMR video featuring the Damask Stencils 360°™. I will show you how I used this simple stencil and turn it into a colorful piece of art!
I first centered a 3 3/4” white panel with the Stencils 360° Friends Ed., then I coupled the 4” stencil from the Damask Stencils 360°™ set to the 4” Guide Ring™.
For my first round of inking, instead of inking all of the elements on the stencil, I chose only to ink the two bigger petals. I spun it at 22.5 degrees turning interval (referencing to Hearts) and inked with alternating colors. Then using one of the smaller petal element, I simply ink right in between the big petals while rotating my stencil, without referencing to any of the scales on The Base™.
To create an even fuller look, I moved and taped my stencil outside of the Guide Ring™, and ink through the small petal again but this time, right in between the array of the small petals that I inked. This is one of the fun parts of the tool, thinking outside the box! You are not limited to putting the stencil in the Guide Ring™ to create your designs!
Watch this short clip to see how I made this card! And don’t forget to check out our new 0.6” and 1” blending brushes which are the perfect- size brushes for working with the Stencils 360°™ collection!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend ahead!
