A Magical Creation with Guest Designer Ilda!

Hello friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Let’s hop right in to our inspiration for today. We’re super excited to have Ilda Dias guest designing for us!

Her card features the latest Fancy Gift Bow Stencils 360°. She ink blended three different pastel colors on one of the 8” stencil from this set and rotated it at 30deg intervals (jumping from circle to circle) to create this dreamy background! So beautiful!

She then used the 6” stencil and apply iridescent glitter gel over it to create this icy frozen fractal look!

She added a white heat embossed sentiment from So Blessed stamp set that was die cut with its coordinating dies. She also finished her card with some matching iridescent gems!

This card certainly reminds me of the movie Frozen, Christmas and Snowflakes!

Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration Ilda!

Thanks for stopping by everyone, have a great rest of the week!

Chinese New Year Card with Candice!

Happy New Year everyone! Welcome back! I wish all of you a prosperous and healthy 2022!

Did you know that Chinese New Year (CNY) – Year of the Tiger is coming up on the 1st of February?! Candice is back today to share a card to celebrate just that!

I love this gorgeous background which Candice created! She used the Fun Doodle Dividers and stamped a few of the images in a radial pattern using ink colors inspired by this month’s Penguin Palace Challenge. Head to our Challenge Blog for more details!

Next she used the Legend of The Koi stamp set, did a couple of the different layering stamp options to create this pair of beautiful koi. She cut them out with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts and adhered them to the front panel with foam tape.

She white heat embossed the sentiment on a banner cut out of our Night Sky Premium Cardstock. I love the focal point she created with the images from the Fun Doodle Dividers stamp set which sets the scene for the koi!

Thank you much Candice for sharing this awesome card!

Thanks for visiting our blog, have a great day!

Today I’m sharing a fun holiday greeting card using some of the most vibrant ink colors from Ink on 3, along with both old and new products from our shop!

This fireworks background was created using the Magical Fireworks Stencils 360°! I used Ink On 3′s Artist Grade Fusion Ink Pads in Marigold Orange and Jam Purple on stencil ‘Barrel 1’, with a turning interval of 15°. Then I used Peacock Blue and Goddess Green on ‘Barrel 2’, with a turning interval of 30°.

Using the same ink colors as above, with the addition of Bee Sting Yellow, Sweet Petunia Pink and Blackout Hybrid Detail Ink, I created 4 non-traditional christmas trees by mixing and matching images from our Minimalist Christmas Trees stamp set. I fussy cut them, glued them onto the Grand Piano cardstock, then fussy cut them again to give these images a thin black border so that they’d stand out from the background.

I white heat embossed a sentiment from Magical Christmas Sentiments on to our Grand Piano cardstock and adhere it onto the card with foam tape. I added Lime Punch cardstock as my card base for a pop of color!

I finished it off with gems of different colors and sizes, added some Copic coloring to the tree pots and a touch of Wink of Stella clear ink for the extra sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Head over to our Instagram page NOW and hop along for your chance to win one of two $25 gift cards (one to the Ink on 3 store and one to the Penguin Palace store)!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

It’s Never Too Early For a Christmas Card with Anja!

Hello! Today Anja has for us a gorgeous X’mas card featuring the new Sacred Lotus Stencils 360° TM.

Anja used a card panel of size 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and it was die cut using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays. She picked up Barrel 2 and ink blended Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink in the first round by making references to the outlined hearts on the Stencils 360°TM BASE. Then for her second round of inking, she blended Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink over the same Barrel 2 by making reference to the solid hearts.

Sacred Lotus Stencils 360°™

This alone, created a beautiful floral overlapping geometric pattern!

She then further applied applied Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Black Ash with a Nuvo Blending Sponge, over Barrel 1. This bold black really created a the perfect contrast!

The Merry X’mas stamp was from the Warmest Wishes stamp set. I love that she stamped it using the same Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide ink for the cohesive look. It was then die cut using a circular die from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

I love that she die cut another piece using matching cardstock on the scalloped die from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts to go beneath the sentiment. This helps accentuates the foral pattern formed using the dark Embellishment Mousse!

The added snowflake embellishments made a fun finishing touch to her card!

Thank you so much Anja! Your card is spectacular!
